Not everyone though - If you think everybody else is in some form of clique then it becomes self fulfilling as people can perceive that and see you as an outsider.

I think in my mind I've mixed up Thatcher and her spitting image puppet. Can't really separate the two :) Wasn't her mentor Sir Keith Joseph ?

Paying certainly shows intent. But still unsure of Operation Ore unless there's other evidence (other than the database - I think there was in this case) I don't know the outcome of the concerns - Landslide seemed to have many websites and paying for one gave access to them all - whether you knew it or not http://www.duncancampbell.org/content/operation-ore

Didn't know about this - they call it the Soap Opera effect it seems. Will watch for it when I buy my next TV :)

I would so much like to have him ring the number. Sounds more salesperson than boiler engineer :)

I haven't got a touch screen Just a 3 year old i7 16gb ram ASUS. Running 8.1 at the moment so would like to get off that (although to be fair it never crashes - just has that dual personality)

Thank you to the woman who stole my Waitrose shopping

But if they've delivered them to the wrong house, left them in the van or they fell of the back off the van it's the shop i would deal with - whatever else happpened is their affair. The bank don't tell me that my money in my current account got stolen :) -

Yes - similar - If I hear anything it's through the front door - rather than the walls or floor. Theres no excuse for not getting soundproofing right in new builds. YOu'd think there would be a way of improving it in older houses.

Gowlett Road/Hinckley Road noisy neighbours

They sang the theme from Baywatch - doesn't sound hard core. There used to be actions to that too. -
I had my both wing mirrors pulled off in a private garage. Luckily it was only ?40 to replace both and can be fitted yourself :)

Most of the parents had no idea and most of the children were just 'followers' with one or two ringleaders. Problem is - as a child - it's safer to side with the majority.

Whenever it's children you have to be careful mind - however obnoxious. Really sounds like this lot need to be seen and not heard.

The fear is that you get blamed (as the adult) even just for telling them off. I try and do it with the glare without saying anything - it does shut them up usually as I can do the angry look quite well.

It's Waitrose issue - they can sue and ban the lady I'd think (and would do so). I wouldn't even want to know the story - Waitrose - Where is my food ? Did they give a coupon as well as the refund ?? Edit: To be honest I wouldn't like it if they gave me someone else's stuff either but I'd obviously return it - I would want to check everything with the receipt then however. -
I had the same once - just laughed at the time being not exactly threatened and I thought - did he really just say that - but it isn't nice especially as he was with a younger girl. Wanted to ask him to repeat it. I'm sure they just repeat what older people say.

My Ipad 2 is still working well. I'm thinking of refreshing it this year though.

Lady who nearly knocked door down last night
JohnL replied to twinhunters's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
My iphone tracker is almost always accurate to a building Maybe it depends on settings / if GPS is active etc. If there is inaccuracy it's meant to show an circle of accuracy.
