But Nicola Sturgeon is far more radical IMHO - and she runs a country - just a different country. Why is England so different (Gower is Little England beyond Swansea :) )

Probably - but that's something wrong with the UK media IMHO. I seem to be the one of few people looking for something more than media ability in a PM - inspiration, vision, gravitas etc.

The issue with being in control and knowing every aspect of policy is you then are micro managing Gordon Brown did this - IMHO Cameron doesn't - he just repeats the same thing. There's nothing wrong with saying my excellent team are on this and will brief me (if a question is jumped on you) - if it's pre-planned the team should have briefed already.

With the incoming boundary changes Labour need to go some to get anywhere in 2020. I can see Scotland (and if we get a Federal system) regions of England moving away from the UK governing party.

Estate Agent article claims Peckham has a Waitrose opening
JohnL replied to Louisa's topic in The Lounge
Could be a Little Waitrose - but can't find anything about it :) -

I'm sure I've said before Pedestrians in the road ALWAYS have right of way - even if they shouldn't be there. (which is kind of common sense) That doesn't mean pedestrians can just step into the road - just that if they do they then take priority. in that photo - it's so much easier for the pedestrian to use common sense (I would)

They weren't even late today either

Can't believe my families home constituency of Gower is now Tory... for the first time in 100 years apparently.

Everybody (and some famous names) tweeting (but no exit polls until 10 apparently) Gorgeous George has allegedly tweeted something he shouldn't.

Louisa -It's ever so slightly IMHO Every poll and feeling on the ground may be wrong and the Tories have a majority of course :)
-
Labour seem to be making a big effort on the ground. Lord Steel saying LibDems should not rejoin the coalition. Labour willing to call a constitutional Convention (wooing LibDem) Is it slightly heading Labours way ??

Whilst Alcohol is acceptable (even encouraged) employers and vetters hate any form of illegal drug. (I understand why a lot of people think that's unfair) it is just a huge no no with them if they even suspect.

I saw them canvassing outside Peckham Rye Station. One guy had a "Hell Yes" tee shirt.

But I agree with the Air Crash analogy - as a fan of Air Crash Investigation. It opens your eyes into how crashes happen.
