  4. Don't forget today we had a 44 year old teacher found guilty of raping a 16 year old (she was his student and thus couldn't consent even though she was 16). The judge said she groomed him, I don't know his mental state, but it sounds strange - and I hear there cannot be/won't be an appeal (to the lenient sentence).

We (Swansea) have to pay 7% of that to Vitesse I noticed the final fee was 'Undisclosed' - wonder if we got a little more from City :)

I'd say no.. But if you're treating a drunk person as a child (which I do) then I'm saying you might still end up in court (it's possible), Then yes - a court might decide no - but I went to court once a long time ago (over a trivial matter) - had my words twisted and never take risks now.

The rumor of women with 'strap-ons' used to be prevalent in my youth - but never true I think.
  11. Is it me or does France appear like a country that's about to go to war Much more emotional than I remember the aftermath to 7/7 - which was stiff upper lip and resilience.

With Pakistan it might be 'de facto' rather than 'de jure' I think ?? It seems people certainly get very angry about any sort of blasphemy

I think a lot of men used to do this - I might be wrong. They actually hold wine bottles to the girl (trying to get them to finish the bottle) - I've seen it. 'Hunting in Packs' in bars is a phrase being used.

Yes - but someone will then take advantage and continually draw boundaries not in the middle but 3/4 along - then repeat.
  22. Yes - when it's personal - why make a single person feel bad ? Religions etc are always subject to scrutiny and mocking - somebody has to do this or everything is accepted as absolute and the question is, is the public able to cope with it - or should it be done on our behalf by our betters. oneearth121 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > i am 60 years old and have been told and bought up > by my parents teaching me always to respect others > and others feelings (respect and be respected ) > and have always been told that Freedom comes with > Responsibility.........have i been bought up and > told wrong ???
