The last time I was pick pocketed in Oxford street (a number of years back) - quite brilliantly the police at the time blamed the Portuguese. -
English changes depending on the context - and whether you use an iPhone with autocorrect. I can't read long paragraphs on boards though - need to keep it short and sweet IMHO.

If Evans go into pizzas, indians, kebabs as well as bikes and repairs, they will be a conglomerate and the cycle profits can be used to support the loss making pizza business.

I've seen a few where a taxi stops - but doesn't pull in - door opens and wham.

I tried making Welsh Rarebit last week - but just can't get it like I used to.

Evans were a small independent until recently.

Still have memories of our private bonfires though. A neighbor had a spare bit of land and we started building it in September. Was a highlight of the year as a 10 year old.

Peckham Rye Park Cafe Police this evening
JohnL replied to se15mum's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Why do we want to know what the Police are doing ? I like to know because it's our neighborhood and we want to know how to improve it, and to do that we need to know what's wrong. I hear sirens every day going past on Rye lane - I'd rather they didn't but I at least want to know why my neighborhood is full of police cars, sirens on rushing somewhere. Peckham is improving because people take note of what is going on and get involved. -
Sorry to say it but .. Stick the football on - BT and Sky. Get some Ales in. Get some live music (Like the Rye used to) back to Magdala Noticed the Firestation in Waterloo is boarded up - that had footfall but didn't mak it

Trains from East Dulwich (seem to be terrible)
JohnL replied to Gardenia's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thameslink is usually reliable - but has got more crowded recently too. Coach Beth Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The Overground from Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill is > a very useful alternative too. > > Thameslink service from Peckham Rye up to > Blackfriars/Farringdon/King's Cross doesn't seem > as bad as the London Bridge services.
