He is following me rather aggressively every morning and night now - I really find that rather annoying I'm beginning to avoid him coming home (crossing the road, hurrying past) because he's always there - suppose nobody else would mind that. If he sees me he comes rushing towards me.

Just shouted at and reported to the police the guy with dark long hair who has been begging here for the last few weeks Had enough of being pestered - even at this time of year

Some of the forum messages pre 2007 seem to say maybe it wasn't I wasn't here then. jimbo1964 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Except without Westfield and the Olympics. > > Stratford was always a dump and always will be. concerned about a man following me on peckham rye

I stand aside and watch them go past if anyone gets too close, or give them a glare and hurry past. Whichever - I don't take my eye off them - which is rude if they are innocent. It's getting to the point that beggars are following people, begging again. It's not been like that for a few years. Also someone has put a note on the noticeboard in our block about persistent harassment of women around here. -
I know there are many people like me - who only turn up at the GP/Outpatients when things are really bad. I've was told not to do this - damage to kidneys etc.through dehydration. miga Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > BrandNewGuy Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > miga Wrote: > > > -------------------------------------------------- > > > ----- > > > (other than that you think some people > > > you know are hypochondriacs), it's just an > > > assertion. > > I certainly did not say that people I know are > > hypochonriacs. I'd bet on Labour + Nationalist coalition at the moment. Salsaboy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hahahahaha..... > > > jj2 Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > if Labour wins the elections...

I think if you focus on inequality these days you are seen as someone focusing on an argument lost in the 1970s, unfortunately. The big arguments have all passed by - and won't come back for a while yet - until then every politician is more or less the same. Get rid of the whistler and a lot of the others would disappear too. I've been watching how things happen out there. -

Men can be made to feel uncomfortable too. Got followed down Rye Lane last night by a rough looking boy trying to sell me drugs and asking me not to walk so quickly. I think something at the moment is bringing them out. The thing that annoyed me most was he had obviously seen me before and made me know that (he described a shoulder bag I carry to work). I felt a little bit uncomfortable then as he has obviously 'clocked me' for some reason - and he may not be alone.

A lot of once a year drinkers don't know pub and drunken transport etiquette. NYE is the worst. Maybe someone should come up with a list.

There is a type who sit next to others when seats are free - I commented about it on twitter as it is strange (in the UK) - but seems some people have a fear of the back of the bus - even some big men. There's ghosts down there at the back :)

You can have the christian evangelists from my way :) ....or the whistler - who hasn't stopped for 3 days now. -
Really that doesn't put even a small dent in the last years increase http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/mortgageshome/article-2852840/House-prices-climb-time-high-November-pace-growth-continues-slow-Nationwide-index-shows.html

I reckon the website outages in the UK were a marketing gimmick and all the "bargains" I've seen are older stock.

After walking up Rye Lane to the station most days I have an uncanny ability to avoid obstacles without thinking :)

In my experience - not catering though - followed by an I don't care period - and a huge piss up where someone has a go at the management consultant.

The new Antic pub in Rye Lane is going to be called "John the Unicorn"

Getting fed up with this - alright to put flags in your window YES, from a flagpole YES hanging from the guttering over the front of the house NO, even if you are hardworking. Have these politicians seen the house. Cameron, Milliband keep saying "in the window" I'm tempted to stick a HUGE welsh flag across my balcony until Easter and we'll see how long before I get requested to move it.

I still wouldn't want to live next to someone who permanently has a countries flags adorning the outside of the house. I'd get rather fed up of it fast. Okay with it during Englands world cup exploits (they don't last long ;) and Okay with a flag inside the window (as curtains for instance). I would be told to take it down if I tried that - but then I'd be told to keep my washing off balcony - it's written in the terms of most blocks of flats (and I'd have thought blocks of houses). Until recently English flags on a house were associated with extremism in many peoples minds NOT as patriotic - I'm glad thats changed to be honest - maybe she didn't know there has been a change.

Dulwich Estate - fit to run conservation?
