  1. Someone put a note outside our block - basically no cold callers welcome for anything. They now don't bother.
  2. Heres the list in the new Guardian format Nothing here. http://www.theguardian.com/business/2015/jan/28/tesco-store-closures-list-in-full
  3. Even with the flooding not being their fault - the response to it and communication is in line with GTR/Govias previous form since September.

Then Overground doesn't have long distance to worry about.

They went through a phase when there was an automatic announcement about why the train was late - and in the space left for the reason there was a load of gibberish or nothing - never ever a reason - and they expect people to use.

I can't even hear the planes overhead - I can see them but too much other noise to hear them. Buses are the biggest noise - they seem to be designed to push noise upwards. Luckily not a family - so just accept it. I wouldn't live where I live with children.

    Football Focus

Many teams don't really seem to care about the FA cup unless they find themselves in the quarters - then they go for it.

Listened to that - lots about Peckham Rye. Loads of children - everywhere - I know there was a birth bulge but... or were they just following the camera :)
  12. Isn't the US heading towards self sufficiency ? Maybe they'll lose interest in the Middle East in future.
  13. On yesterdays twitter they said they couldn't turn off the broken water main as it fed a hospital. Anyway 63 crowded as everyone avoids Thameslink.
  14. At a close relatives funeral - I said phones off please. One still went off. Trainers and meeting chairs hate them and every gym I go to seems to block them (which really mucks up my on call).

That's certainly how I celebrate Burns night :)
  18. It was Martin Luther King Day but don't know if linked ??? 25th is Burns night and 26th Australia day - so might be more.
  19. Yes maybe - he 'already had a criminal record' - so maybe he had 3 strikes and you're out.
  20. Someone actually nicked my pint on Saturday in Peckham How low can you go - Pinching a mans pint :(.

Everyone seems happy in those photo's :) I've been on some where everyones grumpy.
  22. Okay - Independent today has the story of a man (who it now seems was innocent) who was locked up for 17 years for attempted rape - apparently as he would not admit his guilt he could never be released on parole. So why was Ched Evans given parole http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/wrongly-convicted-men-launch-new-case-against-the-justice-secretary-9985773.html
  23. When I drove round the South Circular - I use to love seeing it come up :) A sort of landmark

The Nags Head seems to have survived with 'At the Races' and '70s Disco' Seems to be a no go area for Hipsters too.

But you can't blame sellers if they want the highest price at any cost. I have a 33% share in a inherited house - and it's empty and will remain so until the best price comes.
