  1. It is a bit of a cult but then others are just trouble causing (I can't believe some of the accounts in the UK are sincere and think it maybe more a tribal thing brexit=trump) Trump already talking of 2024 (if he isn't in prison or Scotland :) )
  2. Brilliant that's got my MOT question answered too - The Southwark list I was sent isn't as extensive as this.
  3. I got one of these from Southwark Council with some guidance and information on the second lockdown. First note for me is I've got an MOT on 10th November and that is not forbidden by law but not mentioned in the newsletter as a specific purpose to leave home. Any other stuff missed ? Deliveries to outside my block are also going ahead.
  4. Ou est mon chapeau the man on the bike could have ridden through that - he capitulated to the pedestrians.

He / his team been planning for > this eventuality for months given rhetoric around > postal service etc going way back. > HP As CNN are repeating he called for his supporters not to use mail in ballots It was a self fulfilling prophecy
  6. The US Presidential Election conspiracy brought to you by the men who did the Moon Landings conspiracy.
  7. To be fair though a President is for 4 years whilst a Brexit is for life.

    Fireworks

I remember the "Jumping Jacks" as we called them. There was a theory in the 1970s that if you ran away from them they would follow due to the air wave as you ran - so better to stay where you were when someone set one of nearby.
  9. Democrats still think Trump can't do Arizona - and Fox hasn't uncalled it. "Trump would have to receive at least 57 percent of votes that remain to be counted in other parts of the state as well, including counties that tend to vote Democratic. Biden?s narrow edge underscored a profound political shift in Arizona, a longtime Republican bastion that has lurched left in recent years, fueled by rapidly evolving demographics and a growing contingent of young Latino voters who favor liberal policies."

    Fireworks

The responsible person for fireworks can't drink ... so argument for doing it earlier and having a beer later.
  11. I'd be suspicious of an old mattress for anything due to Bed Bugs etc. (not casting any aspersions on this one and I know the things live on wood mainly which makes me forget second hand furniture largely too)
  12. It's not over yet though - Arizona could go back to Trump even though it was called by some news bodies. CNN still going - and giving speeches on Democracy on the hour :)

  14. Biden won't want it to go to Pennsylvania - Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin and Michigan might do it.
  15. The CNN lead presenter keeps turning to camera and making moral speeches (about a divided country and democracy) :)
  16. Trump has performed well here obviously, better than the polls - but there was always going to be a red mirage is it a mirage :).
  17. CNN just don't stop - what are they on.
  18. Good to know Some of EDFs greatest are working on this :)
  19. It's right wingers that often call it the "Great Reset" but it's one thing they may have an inkling about as thats a world economic forum initiative and after Brexit that's one of the areas the UK will want to lead :) https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/06/now-is-the-time-for-a-great-reset/
  20. "the built-in purifying system filters pathogens, allergens, and pollutants from the air by using N-95 filtration." WOW - No pollution from the traffic being discussed on other threads too - this is an excellent piece of kit. We'll all be wearing them by Christmas I predict.
  21. I actually hate lockdown - and that's whilst I have a job that I can work from home and saving money because I'm not going anywhere. I still feel "cabin fever" (my life actually flashed before me the other day for real) but I can't see any other good option at the moment - once I see a good alternative I'll be the first to support it.
  22. New craft on 31 Oct I think. Maybe testing it out.

Shhh but I tried that with a sofa once as too big to move out - took me ages to split it up
  24. There seem to be a lot of companies offering this service for a price if you google "mattress disposal" Not sure if they are charging too much or if they're not entirely legal (last thing you want is your mattress dumped by someone else).
