Oddones is rather a long way from the Goose Green playground. There?s a wonderful ice cream place in the parade of shops almost next door to the playground. -

NO. We used to live in a Permit Parking area and it was a nightmare - many more permits issued than spaces available. When we moved to SE22 it was a great improvement, so I would like to second all the arguments in the threads so far. I completed the survey because I wanted to swell the No numbers, but when at the end it began to get intrusively personal I gave a fictional d.o.b. and ticked all the party boxes. -
Is it true that refrigerated vehicles have to keep their engines running in order to maintain the cooling system?

It all gets curioser and curioser ..... When we moved into North Cross Road five years ago we had Virgin installed because we had been very pleased with it for about ten years in our previous house in East Anglia, and have had no serious problem with it. The occasional small glitch has always been dealt with very promptly.

My six year old grandson attends The Hunt Academy for Young Actors at Telegraph Hill Centre (HAYA) in Brockley. Is anyone else suffering from a plague of flies? For the last couple of days they seem to have taken over our sitting room and kept the fly-swatter very busy indeed. Oddly enough, there are none in the rest of the house (even the kitchen!).

The OP said "It was in my friend's neighbour's garden.." Which made me wonder why, as suggested by some people, the dogs should have been kept on leads. There's a possibility, surely, that the dogs reacted to an invasion of their territory, and the fox's failure to run away was interpreted as an aggressive act. -

I wonder why they haven't put sash windows in the front. Surely it can't be an economy measure? -
Much more important to make sure that there's a working bulb in every light fitting, and loo paper in every loo.
