  1. The Lambada?
  2. Always Tom Waits, the other versions pale badly in comparison. Maybe its a lot to do with the version you first heard. I do like Tom Waits a lot though so am probably biased. As for your quote being a spoiler I dont think so, its not like you gave away a serious plot twist...methinks SBs being overy precious. Hides under table to avoid the teacup SBs just let fly at my head.
  3. Less cockiness, more relief mixed with disbelief. Didnt expect a win at Citeh even though we are their official bogey side. Next up, the Scousers in the League Cup.
  4. I think you'll find hes the Mayor of Chichester.
  5. ...another one bites the dust.
  6. Good call TLS, was just contemplating getting on a train to Kent for a bit of a wander. Eynsford maybe unless someone else can recommend a different walk thats doable by train and not too far away.
  7. You could get some top notch guest ciders in as well.
  8. Good point. Although there is still quite a bit of Comolli dross at the club in the form of KP Boateng, BA Ekotu, Tarabt(The New Zidane apparently)and various others.
  9. When I was studying in Falmouth, Cornwall our local kebab shop used to get visited by representitives of The PKK and they would all contribute funds for the cause...not that I'm suggesting thats the case here.
  10. You're right The Coffee in The East Dulwich Cafe is very good value and has none of the pretensions of the trendier cafs.
  11. Are you putting money on the Citeh V Spurs game then Rhinestone Cowboy?
  12. ??? Great performance from The Spurs last night with man-mounatain Tom Huddlestone Man of the Match for me. Its encouraging to see a smooth, slick performance to follow on from 2 games where we've ridden our luck at times but got the all important points. A night of Rarities too with the first european hat trick for Spurs in 25 years(the long winded Crooks bagged our last) and young John Bostock becoming our youngest ever debutante at 16 years of age. Modric was outstanding again and everything looks encouraging for our visist to Citeh on Sunday. :)
  13. Not conviced by James at all but your right about Gomez, hes poor. The Opposition knows they only have to loft in a high cross and theres a 50/50 chance Gomez will flap at it.
  14. Defoe cant leave unless there are some serious bending of the rules, I'd love to see Diarra at Spurs...and havent we already got our own David James?
  15. Who said practicality couldnt be sexy. ;-)
  16. Tough one innit, my first instinct was to go for FarCry 2 as I loved the first one but liked the cut of Deadspaces jib. I'm gonna cane it this week(Housemates are away), so if you wanna do a trade in at some point in the future let me know. Great games are like buses arent they! As for The Twilight Princess, lovely game but definitely missed a few opportunities to improve on its tried and tested formula. For me Majoras Mask was the best of a very tidy bunch.
  17. Tsk, women!
  18. ..and here was me thinking we all lived in a Post-Herzigova all encompassing equality driven utopia not seen since Star-Trek The Next Generation. Dissapointed. :(
  19. Hi Strawberry Field. Ronnie Biggs says no, Elton John says no, Joan Collins says no, Andy capps wife says no, Miss Venezeula says no and Dot Cotton says...I love my Nick, hes a lovely boy.
  20. Not to mention Luke Chadwick who always reminded me of a flyblown horseskull...
  21. Bloody Italians, as if the parade of male models that masquarade as their football team wasnt enough...what do we have? Wayne Rooney, thats what! :X
  22. Dungeon Warder?
  23. DW? Dear wife?
  24. Hmm, so whats in it for me?
