  2. Aye, she were a hot lass. ;-)
  3. Then There was the Irish fella who used to deliver our milk...Bernie Bough. Odd fella, smelled of Maltesers.
  4. I had an ex whose name was Ellen Droad. She hated football...
  5. Your second name isnt actually Field though is it Anna, a delicious coincidence or just wishful thinking?
  6. I shoudlnt laugh at such reckless misuse of pyrotechnics, but to have seen the miserable bullies face light up like a Tilly Lamp must have been a sight to behold. Terrible of course. :))
  7. Late 60s, early 70s vintage? It might be Hawkewind, the Junior Vintner went off to found The Moteuread Vineyard in Gascony in the late 70s. Its lost a lot of body in recent times and seems to subscribe to the law of diminshing returns, but when it was done well....well, cest magnifique!
  8. Mike 33. You'll be suprised how tetchy some people can be about their anonymity on here. I think there are a lot of people in Dulwich who work for British Intelligence.
  9. Good idea. (tu)
  10. Dont get me wrong, there are things wrong with it(and that horrible section was the worst, but with the help of the guy who came around to fix my plumbing(no, really)I got through it), However it has a lot more right with it. Its pretty short and you can usually guess when the sh*ts about to hit the fan but its superbly atmospheric and the sense of isolation is quite often too much(especially with the lights off in the early morning). I'm enjoying it and thats all that really matters. So there. ;-)

I think my friend Tony Crankshaft coined the term 'Mannist' as a male equivalent of Feminist. He even penned a rubbish manifesto and named it his 'Mannist Agenda'.
  12. I think we should set up our own Guantanamo Bay on The Isle of Dogs for these antisocial, frustrated & insignificant little people. I think Amnesty International & Human Rights Watch would turn a blind eye. I am a little annoyed that no one stood up for them though. A bit of Dunkerque spirit might have been appreciated.
  13. Heaven forfend.
  14. Yeah, they should chuck in a few The The covers.
  15. Homely.
  16. Finish it!!! Grrrr! (6)
  17. I had such an awful hangover on Thursday I had to fend off the beginings of a nasty panic attack in my local caf...I mumbled something inchoerent to my companion and fled out of the door without even picking my bacon sandwich up let alone eating it. I've ducked all potential 'lets go out for a bevvy' phonecalls since. The shame. Must've been something in the air, my worst of the year too. :(
  18. Cute. Crap pic mind. Note to Jah...could do better on next assignment. ;-)
  19. See earlier thread. :'(
  20. ITs the same redhead Quids...I'm smitten. :-$
  21. Please stop tipping Spurs to win, I know what your doing and it wont work! Harrys spell is more intricate than that. :-S
  22. Wow, for an up and coming actress she doesnt appear to like having her foto taken. Nowt on Wikipedia, Google images or...well, anywhere. I hear that instead of using her Equity name she goes about her everyday business as Gladys Troutfancier, is there any truth in this?
  23. I've just spent 3 afternoons, 2 mornings and one full day waiting for British Gas to fix our boiler and there are still unresolved issues. The first day I waited in all day only for no one to show, and yesterday I was told to wait in all afternoon for The Dynorod guy to turn up and fix a related plumbing isssue...he arrived this morning telling me that British Gas had a habit of making rash promises without actually informing them. All involved have been thoroughly professional and very pleasant, but dont make the mistake of thinking your gonna get your problem resolved in a hurry....in fact you may as well take a fortnight off work. Me? I've got another afternoon in on Monday waiting for The Gas Man to fix the problem he created when fixing the original fault. Rubbish. (6)
  24. Just a little something to put some spice into a Friday morn...http://hosted.met-art.com/met-art_AF_498_428//full/met-art_AF_498_6.jpg
