My flatmate is a Reds fan and during the game he had a face like a..a..a..well, he resembled Gordon Brown. Not pretty. I pointed out that walking a mile in my shoes as a Spurs 'endurer' might rosy up his tinted specs a bit. Tis all relative I guess. We need a Decent holding midfielder as well as a couple of strikers.

The horror.

There are terrifying moments in all Lynch Films(Apart from The Straight Story of course), but theres a scene in Wild at Heart where Nick Cage(Sailor) and Laura Dern pull over to inspect a car crash site in the middle of the night, only to find all dead but one woman who appears to have reverted to childhood and is wandering around aimlessly sticking her finger into the huge hole in the side of her head. Its truly heartbreaking and poignant....oh, and that bit Where Willem Dafoes sleazy character inadvertently blows his brain about 20 feet in the air.

That sounds great. I'm in...provisionally at least. Might I suggest we stop of on the way back and give our bikes a bit of a hose down. Mines a crusty beast at the moment as I am by nature a boneidle fecker.

In my experience a lot of Bus Drivers in London could do with an anger management course, an etiquette course and a replacement for the dessicated shell that used to be their heart. I've never bought their constant refrain of "Its the customers what is miserable and rude". When I've seen rudeness directed at TfL staff its usually in response to having their perfectly reasonable enquiries met with either offhand indifference or caustic remarks. Along with a lot of Londons public service ills this can be put down to a simple lack of communication. I say sue the buggers... ;-)
