  1. From La Redoute Recently professionally cleaned, though definitely not as creamy and fluffy as when first bought. 210x130cms Would prefer it went to a home owner who needs it than a trader/someone who is going to re-sell it. Must be collected today from SE21, please DM me if interested. Will be offered to first DM to who can collect today. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for all the interest in the outdoor sofa. I’ve had so many replies that the best way I can think of is to offer it to the highest bidder and a guarantee that the sofa can be collected tomorrow afternoon. Please DM me by end of the day. Anything over £100 will go to charity.
  3. 170x195x85x85cms Comes with made to measure Kover-It all weather, heavy duty cover (cost £350 new) Comfy, rain resistant cushions that are wipeable and easy to clean. Some signs of wear/fading but still loads of life and use left it in. Comes apart (using Allen key). Pick up Dulwich Village SE21
  4. Great condition. Battery powered. 60cm diameter. Excellent condition. Collect Dulwich Village.
  5. Either just in the morning / afternoon or all day. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks everyone. Lots of good suggestions here. I will never be left desperate at 10pm again!
  7. Thanks, have made a note for future.
  8. That's extremely helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to post.
  9. Thanks everyone. Sounds like it's a good kiddie destination. Now got to find accommodation...think we've left it a bit late!
  10. Just wondering what there is to do there that the kids (8 and 4) will be into and if anyone has a recommendation for a good hotel/B&B? Any advice most welcome! Thanks.
  11. Andy is really very good indeed. He's sorted an achilles tendon and IT band injury in just a couple of sessions. As an added bonus he worked on my neck and shoulders too with wonderful results.
  12. I just wanted to add my bit for Steve and his team who did a sterling job on my 100-year old windows earlier this year (I've written about this elsewhere on the forum). Having had some building work done subsequently, a few of the windows had got knocked and panes cracked in the process. Steve's guys came over and repaired the lot (5 of them in all) in just a day and a half. I was dreading the dust and mess to be honest as the house is now (finally) nearly finished and Steve said the frames had to come out to get the glazing in. However his boys did a ridiculously neat job and were painstaking in the way they cleared up at the end of the day. Amazing service and didn't cost the earth. In my entire ground-floor-to-roof-refurb I can honestly say the windows were the least stressful element of the whole project.
  13. Anyone know a good one?
  14. That helps loads - thanks so much for taking the time to give such an informative reply. Am attempting it this weekend, fingers crossed.
  15. Thanks ed_pete. How did you get a good finish on it? I'm thinking lots of sandpapering and a foam roller.
  16. Anyone done it? Googling brings up conflicting advice re. what kind of paint to use. Emulsion or oil based? I'm erring on side of the latter but would like to hear from someone who's already done it if poss...
  17. Its a long shot I know. Particularly interested in Speedex tools.
  18. Christ, you're good. Thanks so much.
  19. All sounds brilliant. I'm gonna give it a whirl - patch test first. Thanks so much people-in-the-know.
  20. Great - both replies very helpful. KK, did PVA leave a shiny finish at all? I want the bricks to look exactly as they do now (ie. no sign of a coating or change of colour etc) Thanks for taking the time to reply.
  21. Has anyone done this? Just wondering what product to use. Googling hasn't provided much info. I want to stop the bricks flaking and prevent dust with something that has a dead flat matt finish. Any help would be much appreciated.
  22. Just wondering if the pros (no grouting/seamless, hardwearing, warm underfoot) outweigh the cost? Also, if anyone can recommend any suppliers that'd be great. Thanking you in advance.
