  1. following with interest I am still looking for someone!
  2. Bromley blinds. Cannot fault their workmanship, quality or there after care customer service. I have had my entire house done by them in blackout roller blinds and wooden venetian blinds.
  3. Hello, I know currently a lot of the private clinics will have closed their waiting lists, but has anyone had their child recently vaccinated for Meningitis? my daughter is 3.5 years old and the current news coverage has pushed me to have her vaccinated. Any recommendations of where I could try would be greatly appreciated! Do pharmacies have the ability to provide the injections by which a GP can inject?
  4. Hello, can anyone suggest a salon or a mobile therapist who is fabulous at doing HD eyebrows in and around dulwich? my usual place in Chelsea is becoming a bit of journey for me as I will be on Maternity leave soon!
  5. That's why I want to see the schools that may be a possibility. I highly doubt we would even get Goodrich and heber. People living on Goodrich road near the lordship land side hardly get a space!
  6. Hi Renata, I have your response printed out! I'm just anxious Incase we get offered something out of what we expect. It's good to get a feel for all the schools that are possible. I know a lot of parents get upset and disappointed but I don't want to be one of those parents I would rather be proactive and visit and see more than a few!
  7. Hello! can someone kindly help me collate a list of the primary schools which are good in and around dulwich? I've done a Google search and have come up with 1. Goodrich 2. Heber 3. Fairlawn 4. Elliot Bank 5. Goose green 6. Horniman ( but their starting age is 5 years?) 7. Harris ED ( is this a manual application ?) 8. Ivydale I did not grow up in this area - and I only know of schools through reading or driving past them!!! I am trying to visit as many schools as I can because who knows what we will be allocated!
  8. Get him to tell you when he wants to go and put a nappy on him. then slowly start telling him its quite smelly and needs to go in the toilet to be flushed away! My DD refused to be toilet trained. She went to the toilet in her own time to wee. ( this is 4 months ago!) , and she struggled with the poo, but she had to overcome one fear ( doing a wee in the toilet) then move onto poo's! when she said she needed to do a poo I would put a nappy on her , and once she finished I would tell her while changing it smells and it should really go in the toilet to be flushed away. her dad some how made a story about how the poo needs to join its family... so erm there we go. Also, some children may find it a put down that their toilet smells- it depends on each child. My DD is paranoid about being clean so it worked for her.
  9. I would second the recommendation for Mind over Matter boxing. I did personal training sessions with Simone in my house ( I had a huge spare room!) and it was great! she made me work out much harder and was always pushing me to achieve my best. best of all , she bought her adorable son along so my daughter and him could play while we worked out!
  10. Thank you Cora and mariamdeit! I am apprehensive about moving her from her private nursery. She is happy and has a lot of friends there combined with the great care so I would rather not move.
  11. Highly recommend KO! Lovely people to deal with not so lovely issues...!!! plus price is fab.
  12. Isn't there after school club ??
  13. Energy boy - I'm a qualified accountant. I can send you a few websites you can do it yourself at a fraction of the cost!
  14. I would highly recommend Simone for her classes/ personal training ( i have done both- and am still doing PT sessions due to work commitments) Simone's classes - fun + a brilliant work out! And its so easy to bring your children with you to the class! so there is no excuse not to turn up! I usually find group exercises daunting/ intimidating but i have not found this with Simone's classes! Everyone in the group is so friendly and it really makes your session good because its often difficult to exercise in a group if no one talks to eachother. Personal training is even better! Although i am slow at exercising( never really did much before , and post pregnancy i tried zumba for mummies somewhere else but it wasn't for me) i was warmed up correctly ( in the past i/e zumba i could not move for days due to not warming up right!) and stretched out at the end by Simone.
  15. Hi all Anyone have a personal trainer they could recommend? I am keen on exercising at home ( I think!) anyone have any experience of at home personal training ? Is it restricted ? I need to get into shape within a few weeks! Thank you!
  16. Anyone know of a professional to seal our bathtub ? According to the British gas guy who visited us there is a profession in sealing - I cannot find the correct spellings for it! But I need my bathtub sealed correctly as it has gaps which is letting the water escape. Any recommendations ? I don't want someone who thinks they can seal as part of a handy man job. The original seal needs to be removed , then tbe area dried and sealed again.
  17. I had Rabya over to do HD brows, waxing and a pedicure. ( and she gave me a manicure at no cost!) Starting with the HD brows, i have never had anyone spend so much time doing my eyebrows ( my ?3 getting them threaded into any shape which suited the eyebrow threader!) but Rabya spent a good 30 minutes shaping them hair by hair for the PERFECT eyebrow shape for my face. It didn't hurt. And they look fantastic! they are even in size and shape which is something you dont get with just threading. Waxing was done perfectly and my pedicure was wonderful. Rabya really knows her profession and is really keen on making sure she stays ontop of the new advancements and she is really detailed explaining the treatments and actually doing them beyond what is expected. I would not hesitate to recommend her!
