Guys, do you not know anything?:) There is a tea shop opening up too.It's progressing fast.Its what used to be the chandelier shop near Karavan Eco Shop but maybe that was mentioned on another thread.

I have to say though meditteranean friends of mine think that the coffee is not so good but I guess thats just a mediteranean thing thing.They love their lavazza. The proposed establishment is none of the above. Oh my god, is this turning into another guessing game. ! :-S

Hi Vicks....about product lines....... After speaking to Karavan today when shopping and also with my mates at smbs it seems that productwise whatever you decide to stock in your new shop you shouldnt copy any eco products they have as I know they would be very peed off. Especially those guys at smbs. They said you should have had a meeting but something came up.Did you know they sell alot of eco friendly products as does Healthmatters down the road.?This has come up on another thread but those guys have been here along time and deserve respect.pm me to discuss if you like,I am a local commercial landlord and just would like to preserve the peace for our good community of shopkeepers. :)

Bamboo towels are very comfortable and i actually own a couple.They wash well and are very soft.

OK.....Here we are, finally some new gossip courtesy of your local neighbourhood landlord. A very trendy coffee bar is looking at premises in East Dulwich and have made an offer. This deal is not through an agent, its strictly through a private landlord.;-) If the deal works out then this will certainly bring East Dulwich further up the trendy ladder. This will not affect other coffee shops trade because it's different(not starbucks or costa etc). Some landlords actually care about not replicating products and business in the area and are fortunate enough to choose their tenants. Also, I have today been into the new and improved Karavan on Lordship Lane . I must say I was rather impressed. It's calling itself an Eco shop and stocks very good products from bamboo towels to energy saving Eco items to Eco paint .After talking to the chap it seems they will be stocking more exciting items in the near future. All very good and very original.Recommended.(tu) K

I think both Domitianus and Shaman have great ideas. Maybe a mixture of both for the next lot of cards.I wonder though who has supported the EDF by going down to that shop and buying some cards, 5 for a pound seems like a bargain. Hands up who has been to purchase them ???(tu)
