    Great Gigs

Haha! Must have been scary for the bands, Isn't that why the Beatles stopped playing live? Those poor weedy little vox amplifiers couldn't keep up.
  7. What I cant work out is that if a club like the gooners had a world class player who performed briliantly for the first couple of seasons and then drought kicked in for 3 years they would sell the player, thats a given. Maybe Arsen has got Teflon shoulders? Nice blokes don't win premiership titles, maybe a change is in order.

    Cheltenham....

My bruv is a roofer a very fine craftsman he is a very talented lead worker, I meet him sometimes if he's working in the City. Years ago I met him when the gold cup was on and he and a mate of his were in a betting shop, his mate was down on his luck and lost all of his wages bar a tenner on some previous dog and horse races. I swear I have never seen to put it paradoxically such a fine gambler, I watched the guy scan the paper like a mad man and put his last ?10 on an accumulator that he had previously devised, I remember my brother chanting you may as well bet the field lol!. The fecker won his wages back and said "I've had enough now I'm not feeling lucky today". WTF........

The Stones 1965, Brian Jones period. Did you know that Brian Jones has a son and one of my claims to fame is that my mum and his mum were really good friends, I remember Mark, he is the spit of his father and a really nice bloke. His mum Pat was a lovely lady she used to throw a great jelly and ice cream party, I feel fuzzy inside now thinking about that time.

  21. Yes GG but you are dealing with builders and other such individuals, If you ever had the misfortune to sit in a site hut at tea break you would know where I am coming from. My father was a site agent for 20 years and I used to work with him during the school holidays. The conclusion that I made from that experience was ****AVOID**** that vocation like the plague.
