I'm so upset that this is so far away. Who delivers quality pizza to this area? (I'm sure this has been asked before) *Wanders off to the search button*

Think I have chocolate on the brain here.

So many guilty pleasures.... Good quality chocolate for breakfast X Factor. I like the lead up to the final 12. It's car crash TV. Uncooked pastry Listening into gossip about people I know nothing about on public transport Nanna naps during the day Leaving my mobile phone at home so no one can contact me all day Hot chocolates at 3am whilst watching Neighbours re-runs Chocolate Ripple Log On the music side of things. I really love Annie's Song by John Denver. I sing it to my daughter and it makes me cry all the time.

Mike - what happened yesterday? You missed a brilliant afternoon.

Parking my bicycle at Peckham Rye station
CamberwellOz replied to byngo's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Where do you need to get to from Peckham Rye? As long as it isn't 20 miles away, I could help you out with a cycle route (and ride it with you) if you like. -
Three hours and counting.... Think I might have to try some of these great cakes on the way. Bon3yard - do you want to meet for lunch before?

Indulge away Brendan. I'll sit on the sidelines green with envy. :)-D

We used to always go down and buy some in Camden for fireworks night. Hubbie and I would wander down to Battersea with a large thermos of warm mulled wine and a large bag of mushrooms. Such a great place to do them in. Although we usually ended up at the Funky Monkey in the end. Last time I did that, I ended up having a conversation with someone's letter box asking it if knew the way home. Ah, the days before children.

A-Z list celebrities that drive you mad

Jade Goody. It irritates me that someone so stupid could be in so many magazines. -
Wii Fit sounds brilliant. Cheapest place to buy it? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Three more sleeps!! (Can you tell I don't get out much)

Actually, The Muppet Show was pure brilliance. I'm off to search on ebay....

I can't say I fancied them as such but they were my favourite couple on television when I was a kid. http://www.blazesoftball.com/images/statler_waldorf_02_01.jpg

Someone told me that all the gardeners hang out at Cafe Nero. That is why I go. -

Ah this is the introductory special only on this week :)) I've sent them an email and I'll pop round this afternoon.
-
I'll pop round today and find out. SO excited. Is the 18th ok for you?
-
They have a course on the 14th at 6pm and the 18th at 2pm. I'm happy to go to either if you are keen Mike. At ?15, I think it is a bargain.

Just opened up on Bellenden Road by a lovely French woman. Bought some of the hand made chocolate (made by the lovely lady herself) yesterday and I must say it is delicous. The shop is called The Melange. She is going to do a chocolate making course coming up next week and it is only ?15 AND you get to take home everything you make. I'm keen.

Good steak.... hot pan - cook one side for about 2 mins - then flip it over and add a huge knob of good quality butter. As the butter melts, use a spoon and pout it over the steak. After 2 mins, take out the steak to rest and then with the butter and yuymmy steak juices in the pan you have the basis of any sauce you want to make. Even reducing the butter a little with some pepper and salt is amazing. I'd buy my steaks from Mr. Sparkes who comes to Northcross Road on Friday an Saturday. He can practically tell you the name of the cow your steak came from. He also hangs his meat properly. I highly recommend his lamb as well.
