  1. Thanks for all these. You are making excited already.... in an eating food way. ::o
  2. I could do that.... I like trying different food. Was not a fan of frog's legs or snails last time but that could have been the restaurant.
  3. I'm off to Paris in a couple of weeks and I would really love some traditional food. I have been before and found it quite hard to get off the beaten track and find some local restaurants. Any ideas?
  4. Is Kindle available to customers outside the United States? At this time, we are unable to offer the Amazon Kindle and associated digital content from the Kindle Store to our international customers due to import/export laws and other restrictions. When you place your order for an Amazon Kindle, both the billing address for the payment method and the shipping address for the delivery must be recognized by our systems as valid U.S. addresses. To successfully purchase digital content from the Amazon Kindle Store, the 1-Click payment method listed on the Manage Your Kindle page must be a credit or debit card issued by a U.S. Bank with a U.S. billing address. We value our international customers and hope to make Kindle available internationally in the future.
  5. I just bought some beef brisket because it was on special. Any ideas?
  6. Apparently it was Everest Double Glazing. They pushed the 'are you sure you didn't make a booking?' line for a bit. No you gimp - we didn't. Our house is listed and therefore we can't get double glazing.
  7. We had someone knock on our door last night asking for Mr. CamberwellOz by name and said he had a booking with him at 7.00pm. I asked him... he said he didn't know what this person was talking about. Something about double glazing? We ignored it and they didn't knock again. About half an hour later, they called our landline and asked why we wouldn't let the guy in for the 7.00pm meeting. Dodgy.
  8. Think I might have to go to Rowleys. It looks great. I too made some Nigella this evening. Scallops and chorizo with lemon and parsley. Cook sausage - take out. Cook scallops in chorizo oil left in the pan. Add the sausage back, squeeze a lemon and add some parsley. Job done. Now if I could just get over my hangover.
  9. Don't stop me now cause - I'm having a good time. Over and over and over....
  10. This reminds me of word bingo. We used to play it all the time at work. Hours of enjoyment.
  11. The Joiners Arms on Denmark Hill Road? I spent a wonderful New Years there once.....
  12. Teaching the little one a bit of Marvin Gaye....
  13. I have been a few times and I loved it. The food is fantastic and you can catch a local bus down the Almalfi coast for less than two quid. Brilliant.
  14. Mr. CamberwellOz knew a great way to avoid Elephant and Castle roundabout all together. I'll send him a mail.
  15. Now, now you are all forgetting The Silver Buckle. Shame on you.
  16. Although I am known as 'is that the chick who comes round and cooks us dinner in the middle of the night?'. So next time, invite me out and I'll come back to your place and cook you drunken dinner if you are lucky.
  17. or I wrap it in a flat bread and fry in the pan. Then under the grill with some cheese. God, I'm making myself hungry here.
  18. The best steak I have had in ages was at here. Their kitchen is open - so I suppose you could watch. They only serve steak.... only steak.... hmmm my type of restaurant.
  19. We stayed here in Sorrento and it was cheap and you could also do an eat in option. Hmmm now you have just got me thinking about holidays again. Didn't someone have a cheap chalet in Austria on here the other day?
  20. Although we have got great 'package' deals with Thompson before. I have used them to go snow boarding and on a few summer holidays.
  21. We always use this Holiday Rentals and always find a bargain or seven.
  22. I had leftover spicy meatballs and pasta. My boss is away in France on a wine buying trip - so I sit and stare aimlessly out the window until he checks his mails to answer all my questions to all the jobs I need doing.
  23. I'm with DaveR on this one. We always cook more chili, stews, etc than we need and I put it in a container in the freezer (most of the time with added rice, etc). Instant meal in 6 minutes in the microwave. Job done - hangover not so bad in the morning but I always burn my mouth because I can't wait for it to cool down.
  24. *Face of horror* What Green and Blue didn't make the cut?
