  1. I don't really like dressing formally either.
  2. Yes but in the Navy you'd have grown accustomed to wearing them as did my dad.
  3. Do any of you follow a particular trend i.e rock, trendy, the dreaded 'Bromley boy' etc....? The reason I ask is because I'm sitting in here in a pair of ripped jeans and an old work t-shirt and I couldn't care less. I do however look awesome in the majority of my eclectic wardrobe in which ever combination. Sensible answers only.......who am I kidding......fire away. P.s I never wear hats.
  4. So thats what the crank handle's for at the front under the grill.
  5. Which in this case will be an 8 track.
  6. Now I don't own one although I wish I did but I'm sure you'll all agree that there is no sound like that of a pump action shotgun being cocked/chambered. Whether you're behind or in front of it.
  7. Revolutionary in the sense that I pushed the engine 'through the gate' to maximum rev. Now I'm sure that a lot of you have had some emotional highs in your day such as holding your first child, proving 'her/him' wrong etc....Now so far in my existence I haven't experience the former and hopefully the glorious latter is only round the corner. Anyway, I have tackled the infamous Nurburgring on a MOTORBIKE no less and that was a seat of your pants ride make no mistake. I got up to some incredibly 'boistrous' speeds and when I hit the Flugplatz the bike shot into the air and I even dropped a knee on the carousel. Had a great time though and the butterflys were literally banging against the wall of my stomach. So if you ever find yourself in western Germany give it a go.
  8. Yeah sorry Heanix but remember, Woof started it.
  9. Quite right to Woof. Bloody plebbs eh.
  10. I bet your piss smells of Sugarpuffs Brum.
  11. Nope. I've got a very high metabolic rate due to an active and healthy lifestyle. My dad has a high cholesterol level and do you know why. He had cheese on toast evening snacks for 20 years.
  12. You've got my vote Quids. P.s I've put the claim in for the TNT so we should be O.K...........actually............shit. I'll see you in the papers! Mate?
  13. Oh and I edited it so you could avoid all the 'text back/missing you already/lets do it again' embarrassment. Ingrate!
  14. Hona sometimes you can be just 'plane' vain sometimes.
  15. Mike you're doing yourself no favor's by sending nasty messages to Dulwichmum. Dulwichmum you're doing yourself no favors by letting us know.
  16. Then I suggest you try looking in some 'Dee At Yahshelf' shops instead Brum.
  17. I suppose MM that I'm drawing too immediate comparison to the U.N and N.A.T.O so in retrospect I can see why you think I'm misunderstanding it's power. You're right as it does have a direct influence some might also say disruptive say in member states decisions on passing new laws as well as making amendments. I feel I've cheated you of the debate that you're after as although I do have an opinion I suppose I'm using this discussion as a platform to prove to others I'm not always the yob I'm made out to be although I do often have myself to blame. I agree (I also never knew we'd left) that the E.C.C would be a good thing for our economy, although I'm I'm not qualified to speak about such a move in the current climate but I'd be interested to know why we did leave. I'll have to look up the treaty of Rome (birth of the first economic agreement post war?) so watch this space. Nice talking to you MM, I think that's the most thought I've put into a post to date.

  19. A bit drastic PR but I see where you're coming from.
  20. Quite. I'm only 4 years into my profession so I suppose I'm still a pup compared to you Anna. Still, weekend work sucks I suppose.
  21. It is mean but you're in an essential occupation Anna so I suppose you better get use to it, sorry don't mean to be harsh just the way it is.
  22. Taper, I'm no political expert and don't pretend to be but I do, this may come as a shock, like to keep abreast of current affairs. I agree that the E.U isn't a powerful body, more like a regional League of nations. It is however a powerful Brand in the sense that when needed can be hauled out when a powerful country has a dispute with a smaller/weaker nation within the treaty of Maastricht and the other way round in that a small country i.e Belgium has a dispute with France that Germany also share's , in that it supports Belgium. This is a subtle message from a smaller nation saying o.k you're bigger more influential in the grand scheme of things but if you push it my big friend is going to start making waves that may not go in your favor, if you see what I mean. It's basically a good tool for equality although it can be manipulated.
  23. That's a shame.
