  5. Oh ok, good - I'm a little full of the christmas spirit!
  6. EastDulwich Now that's just horrible! Yes, I see that not everyone really appreciates the nasty and naughty. I'm not even very good at it (EastDulwich<3, you did get that that was a follow-on from the previous post, right? and that I wasn't really swearing at everyone???)
  7. Sorry for tangental posting there - legend of zelda was always one of my favourite games on nintendo - like it a lot, much fun and you can play tunes on the ocarina of time. Wasn't meant to refer to evil darknesss, many apologies! Yes, buses bad.

Just don't drink champagne or > you'll turn into Cinderella. But make sure you've had a wee first. I had one once (a seaweed wrap, not a wee) and I spent the last 38 minutes feeling like I was going to pee inside my wrap and would have to lie in my own urine for another half hour or so until someone came to check on me (you can't get out, your arms are cellophaned to your sides then you're covered up to your chin in a heated blanket - it's not relaxing but does make a couple of inches difference)
  9. I think you're all a bunch of *&%$?@$s
  10. So is Redstar no longer just brilliant 80s music for when you're very very very drunk?
  11. Sue, with your folksy roots, I think you might be the legend of zelda. If so I would like to play you with a wii. To my earlier point about buses definitely being worse, I must confess, this is pure anecdotal evidence. Much like Sean, and others on here, I have spent much longer waiting for my buses of late - if it were just on my way into town (routes 12, 63, 363) I might say roadworks. But s'more than that - I take buses all over, I like to look out of the window, I'm lazy and like to walk as short a distance as possible- and this has been going on for minimum a couple of months, here (in ED and Camberwell environs), at Elephant (in both directions) and in town. Anecdotal, and as I've said earlier, might be coincidence. But you deniers out there are clearly an albino conspiracy. How can you be any more sure that it isn't than it is?
  12. Wise words MP
  13. I saw one on an apisode of House recently - it was really rather spanking
  14. If the theme is Olympics from China to Britain, you could go tangental and look at what Chinese year it's going to be for the 2012 olympics (I think it's year of the dragon) and base outfits on that... Actually year of the dragon could be good - would open up a whole host of bruce lee opportunities
  15. Ooh, never heard of them, but the very name is making my mouth water
  16. Scottfield, whoa, easy tiger - reality is that the buses are far worse at the moment than they were when Ken was in power. This may have nothing whatsoever to do with Boris - it might be a coincidence of road works all over town, at a push you might even say that Ken could have sabotaged them on the way out to make blondie look bad. But they are worse, and Boris is no fan of the buses, so think the question is fair enough.
  17. It's not actually wrong to alternate beef and pickled onion, in fact it's delightful (but this does necessitate eating two bags in one go - again, not actually wrong)
  18. Pickled onion
  19. Yes yes, I saw This Morning this morning and that's exactly what they said - acclimatise - tis the shock that kills them.
  20. Yes yes, power to the Sophocles - I think they'll have exactly the bread you seek. If not, perhaps Tadim across the road might - it's a cafe, but I once bought 200 baklava from there, very reasonable and delicious. They did not mind a take out.

  22. "Pull my cracker, let me be the silver star upon your tree." No Paul, I will not pull your cracker. No one will pull your cracker again. Now go to jail.
