  1. Well over 40,000 at Ibrox to see Rangers tonight. Fantastic attendance.
  2. The club is the same. The corporate entity is all that has changed.
  3. Glad it's Div 3. I wonder how many clubs will go to the wall now?
  4. Fantabulous Clare! Thanks so much!
  5. I have the same problem. If anyone can tell us how to sort it, I'd be very grateful.
  6. I wish the worst of my problems in life were my neighbours lighting. Sheesh.
  7. Adele at Therapy on Melbourne Grove is amazing too!

The fact that you quite obviously do not know what you are talking about means this post should be laughed at in the way it deserves to be. Tax avoidance is completely legal. Tax evasion is not. Everybody who earns a good buck will look to avoid as much tax as they can - including your manager, ex manager and high profile players. Google "Neil Lennon Film Financing" and see for yourself. So your point at trying to tarnish Rangers as some government defrauding illegal outfit is null and void. I guess that you'll have read up so much on this issue as most Rangers-hating, obsessed Celtic fans have and have found that MIH administered the EBT's for Rangers. MIH offered the advice and ran the scheme. Rangers paid ?500k a year for this service, all of which is disclosed in the company accounts. So, is it "Rangers" that are at fault? I am not for a minute condoning the actions. Obviously someone, somewhere has been up to no good and they should be brought to task over it. Plus - as most fans of SPL teams do, you forget (deliberately not mention) that there are two very different issues that have caused Rangers demise. The main one isn't the Tax Case from HMRC, which (as you know) we have yet to be found liable for, it is the fact that a conman came in, bought us with a view to make a quick buck, then deliberately withheld ?millions from the HMRC in tax over the period of 18 months or so. One man. Craig Whyte. Came in, fired the board, took out almost all of the old regime and got to work on his plan. He made the decision not to pay tax, not RFC. This is why Rangers fans want his head on a stick. We also recognise that there has been an almighty fu*k up in regards to the EBT's - but the two are totally different issues. Anyway - Scottish football without Rangers is fu*ked. If the rumours are to be believed, a few SPL chairmen have had recent discussions with their banks with a warning on their finances if Rangers aren't in the SPL. Personally, I'd love to see us in Div 3.

  11. With all due respect to a player who was an amazing servant to Rangers, he doesn't know what he is talking about. The administrators have confirmed that if the SPL grant the transfer of membership from Oldco to Newco that the history and trophies go with them. The Scottish Mhedia are full of Liewell's pets and are screaming for us to lose our history. We won't. We will always be ahead of the rest and will remain the world's most succesful club.
  12. Point one - Rangers do not lose their history. Point two - I'd rather have no history than that of others.

  14. Out of order computedshorty. This is obviously just a kid coming on to have a wee moan and he gets that sort of reply from an "adult"? I'd say it is you that should be labelled "pathetic" following your un-called for response.

  16. Starting to look like a real possibility. That bas*ard Whyte has a lot to answer for.
  17. We used KFH in December and our flat was sold (well agreed price within 5 days) - I guess they just had the perfect buyer. The whole process was managed very professionally by them, I think Alistair was the manager's name and he was very good. We had similar from Bushells - said we'd never get anywhere near where we wanted to market it for. Offer was 98% of asking price! The lady there was also very rude when we told her we were going with someone else, her words were "well keep my number because I doubt they'll sell it for you" - not very professional!! We bought through Wooster Stock in 2007 and they were good too but I think they have lost their way in East Dulwich.
  18. Mick - curious as to your thoughts on your manager?
  19. Yp - 2 for me this morning too... neighbours alarm was tripped and was going off for what seemed like forever!!

  21. Oh my I enjoyed that. Ally McCoist is class personified. He may not be the best manager The Rangers have ever had but I'd not want anyone else in the hot seat right now. As for Lennon, I'll leave it there.
  22. I don't make it personal - you just take everything I say to heart. I can't help it if you are insecure and can't take a bit of banter. Why is it Man U and Man C fans, and Spurs and Arsenal fans can mock each other and no one seems to get as offended as you?? Also, in response to your point on finances... Check the small print. You'll find Celtic are ?30m in the red. It might be in the red to their sugar daddy, but the loans are there. Would you say ?30m in the red is a good financial 'code of conduct'? Parkdrive - no one is saying you should. I just wondered if you had a specific reason.
  23. Why?
  24. HMRC have said they are willing to do a deal. As long as Whyte is out of the picture, which hopefully he will be. The big tax case findings are yet to be released so no one knows what the full liability could be.... and of that, HMRC will maybe deal at something like 10p in the pound. Liquidation is a very unlikely option now, as the administrator said. Rangers are looking at a fighting fund which will assist through til the end of the season if we don't get the money that is being battled over in court that Whyte has "stolen". The players agreeing cuts in wages is hugeky commendable - saved all 177 staff at Ibrox and Murray Park. Maybe it'll be Celtic's turn next when thier 30million "soft" loans from Desmond get called in??!!
  25. A pound coin was thrown onto the pitch at Ibrox. Police are trying to determine whether it was a missile or a takeover bid.
