Boring Thursday Muse. In my yoof between the ages of about 18 and 23 (so between the years of 1988 and 1994 I spent most of my time in an ecstatic haze in various nightclubs up and down the country. I wonder if we use to frequent the same ones?? My little list contains: Sterns Worthing IN-TER-DANCE!!! (I was a total regular but know that many people used to come down regularly from London) Paradise Club AWOL - Islington (may now be called the Complex) VOX Club Brixton - had a night there called LOST and I usually was (Red and Yellows anyone?) VapourSpace at the Leisure Lounge (Brenda Russell, Colin Faver and Colin Dale) Fridge (Saturday nights) cannot remember what the night was called but ran between 1993 and 94 Some Place in Bognor Regis the name of which escapes me. May have been Bentleys.... Bagleys - Kings X What was that place in Wandsworth - huge place got closed down after some kid died there? I also went to some of the big out door do's including Vision (I think I had one) and a few of the Fantasia's, not to mention spending countless Saturday evenbings cicling the M25. Make some noise!!!!

Bobby was being tickled by a rogue Bluebird just underneath his special area! I am skinter than a skint thing due to 9 month old son and non working wife, however, my lovely mum offered to pay for me to go to an away in Europe as a special pressie (she is just as chuffed as me about the win having to comfort me for the last 30 odd years about our lack of success). I best make it an early game though as I doubt we will be in it for long. Not sure on whether we will get a seed at the moment - it looks not, so we could start by playing AC Milan! :O

First winner was a foxy blonde female type as I recall! Claire was a bit gobby for Sralan I reckons and I think he was impressed that Lee had not once been in the boardroom. Is Altima court the new build block on the east side of Crystal Palace Road? EDR (what I call it) is the building opposite on the west side. This is the one managed by the organisation I work for. The block on the east side has a number of units that were let through Southwark Council Choice Based Lettings - I know because when I decanted a house for drug users in Elephant some years ago, a lot of them were offerred housing in this block. It is not uncommon for developers to have to include a number of social hoising units in new london housing developers - they are usually funded by the Housing Corp and handed over to RSLs to run (I believe). Going off on a tangent a bit here, but bear with me, I worked in a church in the city when the "Ring of Steel" was in place. This basically involved huge coppers with Heckler & Koch MP5 sub machine guns walking around outside. I worked in a day centre for homeless in the church and it was fooking great. If anything kicked off with the clients the old bill would send their nearest team - Hechler & Koch at the ready! Soon stopped some radgy drunk kicking off I can tell ya! So........ if there are coppers with guns maybe they could start taking pot shots at some of nunhead and peckham's wannabee gangsters - soon sort the fookers out I reckon!

Like I said before - please let them know when the system is not working. We did and it has helped enormously. There is a "Contact Us" section on their website - we complained and got a personal phone call back and our problems sorted out post haste!

Seems hit and miss at the best of times then. Twas easy for my missus this morning cos she was at home, so she coul dsit by (lie on) the phone and wait for the call. Sorry you is having a tricky time with it!

My wife phoned this morning at 8:30am. Was phoned back by a doctor within 20 mins, had an appointment at 11 and is now feeling very much better at home having at last been listened to about her complaint, being given the correct medication and been referred to the Hospital for follow up! Excellent service today from Melbourne Grove and I cannot thank them enough!

Used to live next door to the mag when Mick had it! Saw a good few punch ups in there! Wonderful!
