  1. Yeah it was great. I came over all teenage again. Phwoar!
  2. Oh Lord. It's just too sad for words. RIP
  3. A motorcyclist apparently involved. Very sad and chaotic traffic.
  4. I'm quite liking it too. I can't help but bounce around in the car when the single comes on.
  5. Just to clarify. Although I'm a motorist and never a cyclist (I'd be too nervous cycling in London) I'm not on either side but just want to point out that it's easier to report a motor twat than a cycling twat so stats are pretty useless in this instance.
  6. Maybe you should do so BS, isn't that what driving without due care and attention is for? I'd certainly report a twit in a car if he'd nearly mown me down on a crossing. I'd get his number plate and expect a bobby to have a word, not something you can do with a cyclist.
  7. And just a trivial point but maybe not. I don't think many people report to the authorities when a twit on a bike nearly knocks your shopping out of your hands whilst crossing a pedestrian crossing or doing other equally ignorant things. So the stats don't really add up here.
  8. Back atcha.
  9. More than likely LadyD. But I actually don't feel that motorists have more right than any other road users. We all need to learn to share the roads and behave responsibly. Unfortunately one tends to tune out if others views are too extremist.
  10. I'm a lazy cow and usually just walk to my local shops and drive in the main.
  11. @BS. What do you want me to do with the answer. I'm just curious to see if LadyD had a bad personal experience as a driver that pushes her to be so evangelical in her views. (I still love you LadyD and am not witch hunting here).
  12. I am of course LadyD, I was pretending to do some housework for a few minutes. I've been driving since 1995 and once was hit by a motor bike coming out of a well known accident spot in Bermondsey. There were a big posse of bikers and the runt of the litter (ie the one lagging behind) jumped a red light and ended up cartwheeling across the bonnet of the car. A very traumatic experience although he was fine. I pull out into main roads with much caution because of that experience.
  13. Not at all BS. LadyD was a driver before becoming an anti-driver so my question is in her experience as the former did she ever mow anyone down. I think it's a valid question.
  14. How long were you a car driver before you gave the wicked activity up LadyD and did you ever manage to kill/maim or otherwise any cyclists? It's a genuine query.
  15. Agree entirely with Otta. But I'm not going to post on this thread. OOPS!
  16. @ Binary Star. I was just throwing it into the mix really.
  17. What's your take on motor bikers? They seem to be getting away with it.
  18. Get this Quidsy. A brand new song.......kicking. http://youtu.be/3EfLBKZ72Uc
  19. I'm not a royal and I wouldn't do that Louisa. Strange thought IMO.
  20. Really liking that EP and you're right about the many influences.
  21. Really. I think that's very expensive but then if I'm eating out I wouldn't normally eat a burger.
  22. That's actually called a mondegreen when you mishear lyrics. Fact of the day!
  23. This should get your curtain twitching juices flowing. Cymon Eckel XOYO, director DJ, producer and pub landlord. Eckel, formerly of the record label Junior Boy's Own, co-founded XOYO in Old Street. The spartan venue, which has a capacity of more than 800, is a cultural destination which houses cutting-edge exhibitions as well as a music events and has attracted DJs and bands from across the globe.
