Curry Club - Thursday 7 March 2019 - venue TBC
TillieTrotter replied to Michael Palaeologus's topic in The Lounge
I'd love to come. -
HUGE you're a pain. People will stop inviting you to the party soon enough. A recipe a german friend gave me recently. Sweat a large onion and 2 garlic cloves in a little butter, add a bag or two of curly kale, put the pan lid on and continue cooking for 20 mins on a low heat. Add a ring of sliced smoked sausage for a further 10 mins and bob's your uncle. The boys loved it served with simple boiled potatoes. Very austere looking but yummy in that hearty winter warming way.

You're always welcome at the ranch. x

Refer to my original post please Mr Otta. I said there are a million and one recipes to be had on the web which makes it harder to choose so personal suggestions would make it easier. I have just shopped to make the pork stew and the sausage in cider. So there!
-
Ha ha SJ. That says more about your mind than mine. Yes please for the chana recipe KK.
-
That's going on the list EP212. My lovely tagine could do with the cobwebs dusting off. @ Quids. I'm trying to wean them off ;-)
-
They love soup but not too keen on pizza. I'd also like meat dish ideas particularly ones you can make batches of to freeze.
-
That sounds yum.

I've recently started doing a 2 week menu plan and whilst there are a million and one options on line and in cookery books it'd be nice to get tips from you orrible lot. My aim is to have at least 3 non meat days per week for myself and 2 teenage boys. Suggestions please.

Spate of burglaries in East Dulwich
TillieTrotter replied to EastDulwichRose's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sure, but it would help if people actually bothered themselves to check when their neighbour's alarm is screaming for nearly half hour. -
No, it's Kylie and Jason.

So much tension on Valentine's Day guys. Get a room.

Spate of burglaries in East Dulwich
TillieTrotter replied to EastDulwichRose's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I went to a friend's house yesterday and inadvertently set off her house alarm. It screamed for 25 minutes until I obtained the code. Not a single person came to check in this big residential road!! -
I've not had a lot of work on this week Otta and I'm seriously addicted. Where are you and Mrs Otta at?
-
I'm loving Mike, Saul's PI. In fact there are so many brilliant characters to be had. Season 3 was my best so far and I'm just about to embark on Season 4. Maybe this evening though as I need some time off and I'm already thinking about the withdrawals after Season 5 has finished.
-
I'm half way through season 3 already. Absolutely addicted.
-
Of course it isn't fair. Make a fuss!
-
Just started Season 1.....always behind the time me!
-
About twice a year I'll indulge myself. It feels so naughty!

Any tips about Center Parcs?
TillieTrotter replied to Bishberro's topic in The Family Room Discussion
They are all brilliant family destinations but I agree with Ratty about Sherwood. -
Crispy streaky bacon, slice of cheddar, lightly fried tomatoes and mustard on crusty white.

Mine is to NEVER lend money to friends again. The old adage never a lender or a borrower be is a tried and tested one and I shall stick to it firmly.

I mean what is Bdsm?

I saw it on catch up yesterday. Scenes shot in the half moon pub and blue brick cafe. I thought it was pretty good for a film shot on a ten quid budget!
