  1. I saw this person yesterday..... Driving at some crazy speed! Yes lovely car though 😜
  2. I was speaking to my sister yesterday who is a business owner, (many people all different age groups use her store) she's not that often opinionated but yesterday she was. She is getting angry (yes that's the word she used) at seeing teenagers/youngsters hanging out together instead of isolating. I was quite chilled about it & thought well if they've got nowhere to go then good luck to them, if they get ill it's their problem (as well as the NHS' of course) She weren't having it. As she quite rightly put it if there ar elderly/vulnerable people in a hospital & they have to make a choice as to who's life should be saved, they'd no doubt choose the youngsters! So yes people unnecessarily going out are putting other people's lives at risk & not realising. Tbh I wasn't thinking on that level, but when she put it to to me..... Well what can I say
  3. There is no more normal Everything will change.... Not necessarily for the best neither! We are going through a traumatic time, across the globe Life has made many of us selfish, this is not necessarily by our choices. If this situation were to be an eye opener in a positive way it would be great Unfortunately I feel we will become a more reclusive nation. All we can do is try our best to protect ourselves by whatever means necessary
  4. Some people have too much time on their hands! Even through this lockdown I still need more time to do what I need to do
  5. I got mine today 😜
  6. Nothing major but i wanted to donate biscuits from m&s to kings, not sure how to go about doing it. Maybe for the staff in icu wards or generally wards which are quite overwhelmed atm... When I last was in A&E with my son, we had taken a few bits & bobs to munch on whilst there but we didn't end up eating them. We left them for the ward staff who were visibly touched by our gesture. If anyone has any ideas about how to get them to the ward staff @kings please pm me. Thanks
  7. If this is the same person I think it is then he's been found
  8. I was in marks' on the lane & it happened there. I'd say power was out for about a minute or so
  9. I have seen this advertised on Facebook today. A news article. Better safe than sorry I say..... Nothing surprises me, the human race is very unpredictable at the best of times!
  10. Just had a msg warning staff not to wear their nhs ID In public. Apparently staff are being robbed for these passes at knifepoint due to the discounts. Staff must carry their passes with them incase (when) we go on lockdown.
  11. This is no lockdown..... The lockdown is yet to come!!! People are not listening, this will now be monitored
  12. These figures are incorrect as there are many more people who haven't been tested
  13. It may be an item hard to find or you simply can't get out there to get it..... List the items & maybe if someone has spares they can message you & drop it round or you can do a collection. Alternatively someone can buy it for you if they see it whilst out shopping This thread may not be so useful now but eventually may be needed.
  14. Can people possibly post about certain items they require? Some of us may have spare to give away. Just a thought..........
  15. A friend of mine has it. He's been told to self isolate & told not to go to the hospital or gp. He asked to be tested & according to 101(I think!) they are no longer testing people. This is far worse than what we are being told. There are many people who have it, who haven't been tested. If you haven't been tested you wouldn't be added to the statistics!

Just to clarify they were charter pupils. I also took a few pics which I haven't shared. These are no doubt children of parents who can possibly try & justify this by using the race card. I spoke to a pupil I know in charter & she recognises them from her school. I don't know what took place prior to the police arriving but I am sick & tired of police being blamed for doing their jobs! This is purely my opinion & I refuse to get into a huge debate about my opinion I myself am a person of colour! BTW, I can't see how the second poster has said they were charter pupils!
  17. My friend just went to savers in Peckham. You have to queue up at the tills, pay for one pack & they bring it out to you. The queue is never ending!

  19. Just witnessed school kids getting cuffed and searched at Sainsbury's dog kennel hill. Not sure why.... It looks like a passing pedestrian has then been walking & collapsed having a seizure. Police were in attendance. Hope all ends well
  20. I would go around 3.20pm, when most of us are out on school rounds..... Or even first thing when they open or again at 9am when the rugrats are being dropped off at school.... 😄😎
  21. One of the persons in Kings is apparently the same parent mentioned.......
  22. No water in the kitchen hot tap but still flowing in the cold.... Low pressure in the bath hit tap & cold still flowing too, bathroom located on ground floor same floor as tank....... Any ideas?
  23. Personally I think people should stop going on holidays & taking flights for various reasons, that should stop all those planes flying over! Best option I think........
