  1. i can't be sure but i doubt their customers cars would be from ed, they have a real bad rep! i know a couple of people who have been very unsatisfied with their work, & would never go back again!
  2. have tried that approach already, when i called the council about it in the past, they instantly knew who they were, they both can get lairy if anything upsets them! the daytime concerns me also, as im not able to park outside or near my door! theres been many occasions in the past where they've left cars on the road for MONTHS! theres also been a time, a few month ago, one of their cars was picked up by the council at 2am! i've also seen wardens give tickets on their cars for havin no tax. i notice they now move them to different places! looking out of my window right now, i can see at least 7 of their cars, presumably their customers' vehicles! if the council were to put permits at least i could park in the daytime! does anyone know the cost of permits? the way i sometimes feel, i wouldn't mind paying!:(
  3. just wondering if im the only one getting peeed off with the parking problems round here! its seems to me mr le garage & son (mechanics garage next door to bells plumbing shop) seem to taking up loads of parking spaces on these roads & possibly more on bawdale rd! there have been times when i have counted at least 10 vehicles of theirs! they are really taking the p***! i came home at 3am last friday & was forced to park on lordship lane! i really don't think this is on, i was considering enquiring with the council about permits, any views anyone?
  4. to my knowledge he's already been nicked for being drunk & disorderly in a public space, & spent a couple of nights in the nick! just for the record he lives directly behind the back of ed police stn. he's always patrolling the streets though, not just whateley road!
  5. lol, she can't do nothing. she chucked him out from her house a while back, now he's back there again! he became homeless after his whateley rd buddies asked him to leave their home. i feel sorry for the lady!!!!!!!!
  6. the whistler is back on duty again, directing traffic! i saw him in peckham...... earlier this week i came out of my house only to be greeted by him! the first thing he said was "what you looking at?" he was armed with his can in his hand, i guess he was drunk! nothing new.........
  7. being a woman, i want to meet men at a singles night! a friend went there & told me she was moving on elsewhere because it was mostly women there! so i guess you guys missed out! it was actually a facebook event......

  14. his garage no longer run the p13, p13's come from beddington garage. phone them & complain!!!!!!!!
  15. :))it was on the p13 i met my sweetboy, over 2 years ago!!!!!!!B)
  16. i am going by information i have from a driver of a local garage, when reports are made against drivers, sometimes - not all the time, it can be destroyed before it gets to the complaints team! so in the end it never gets reported, even though you may think its been reported! i know this because i know a few from local garages & in particular, one person i know is buddies with the top people, whose complaints DO get destroyed, & so he/she doesn't get into any trouble or disciplined! "i shouldn't be telling you this!";-) i think we all have a right to know about these things. if anyone wants to make a complaint, send it via registered post!!!! preferably directly to the garage the bus is from & ask for a reply to your complaint!
  17. read administrators post!!!! this will explain......
  18. to be honest, i find it more value for money going to leicester square! funny enough, i was in the grosvenor casino last saturday night, the food was definately cheaper & nicer than east dulwich tastes & prices! maybe not much cheaper, but if im gonna pay crazy prices i'd rather go somewhere in the city!;-) the drinks were reasonably priced too.... and no im not a gambler, i just accompany them!:))
  19. thanks macroban, i picked up my bags today. :)-D
  20. thanks macroban, i'll check it out when im passing.
  21. im not happy:( still no vouchers on whateley rd, which means i still don't have the bags im entitled to????? can someone help:-S
  22. budgens used to also be 7-11, remember that expensive shop? back in the days, it was one of a few shops that opened 24hrs. in fact, i think they were the only shop that opened 24hrs! co-op used to be where william hill & that estate agents is presently. gateway was the now somerfield, i was lucky enough to have worked there!
  23. i don't believe in charity nowadays, from past experiences! i was once in mcdonalds, old kent rd. i saw someboby give their drink to a beggar/ homeless guy, & guess what? he threw it straight across the road! i thought what a w**ker, the person didn't have to give it to him! another time, a guy in tesco, old kent rd asked me if he could have my trolley to return to base & keep the pound. feeling kinda generous that day, i said yes. i then saw him about half hour later walking out of tesco with eight cans of beer! i was not impressed! for the last five yrs, i have had a direct debit leaving my bank & going straight into a charity account, i don't give money to anyone on the streets no more, i already do my bit for charity! in this country the government helps to keep people of the streets, many of them choose to stay there! (of course, not in all cases!) when i get asked if i have a spare cigarette or spare change i always say "i don't carry any spare! sorry." i would rather buy these homeless people food rather than give them money!
  24. yes first mate, you might just be right! but it still ain't no excuse!
  25. this is very common in dulwich, they need to have undercover officers for "on the spot fines!" only then it might stop!
