i knocked on my neighbours door & told him, it was late in the night but i could see he was up..... he was actually quite thankful... i would've been too if it was me! ;-) i did what i thought was the right thing including putting up this post.....

i stepped out of my front door last night at approximately 10.30pm. two young boys, were trying keys in my neighbours car. they definately didn't expect me to come out, when they saw me, one said to the other "oh how do i know what his car looks like, he should've told me when he gave me the keys! & they started walking. that was obviously said for my benefit.... as i drove on to lordship lane they were sitting on the wall between the cafe & shoe shop talking, this has been put on here purely for information purposes for y'all forumites.... & also to say this happened in full view of the police stn... on whateley rd

to be honest with you i don't watch tv because i feel theres more negative than positive on there... everytime you watch the news someones been killed in some way shape or form.... i like this site because it keeps me updated about whats going on around me.... i like to know what goes on in my local area, wether it be fairs, fetes, jumble sales, road accidents or burglaries (amongst many other things).... i think this site is great for this area & keeps us all updated... if we're interested!

just got in, buses still on diversion.... must've have been serious for LL to be still closed off..

just got in from the incident area..... from what i got told it was a minor stabbing between kids.... no-one seems to have died! ::olets not get carried away now!!!!!!!

oh no.....

i was driving along barry rd & saw a police cordon(blue tape), i think it was around a couple of houses. there were also two police cars present..... any ideas what was going on? it was not far from sylvester rd, plough end... i was passing at around 8.20pm sat evening...

lets hope she survived.........

there was a serious accident in peckham this morning, from what i gather a lady was under a lorry. all buses were on diversion & other traffic..... alot of drama in the streets of south east today! there was also an incident in new cross today.... more traffic! any news on either incidents??

im with talktalk, been with them nearly 6 yrs, they are great!! initially i had problems with my phone line & internet but over the last 4 yrs its been perfect until..... yesterday! for no apparent reason my internet stop working, when i got round to calling them it was all fixed within 20mins.... they talked me over the phone about what i had to do! i pay 21.50 per month, which includes line rental, 24/7 local & national calls, free calls to certain countries abroad inc usa, oh yeah & wireless broad band at 100mbps...... im happy!:)-D

it may be an idea to put up a notice in there, simply stating its been handed into the police stn, just incase someone comes in looking for whatever it was. my daughter once left her door key in there, we never did get it back, reception didn't know nothing about it neither.... after speaking to the cleaner in there she had seen it the previous evening hanging on one of the hooks, not long after my daughter lost it, but the next day it was gone!!!

SteveT Yesterday, 10:39PM When I was over charged the bacon which in theory had been discounted had been sold out, and they put the ordinary bacon in it's place with all the discount blurb around it. You really have to have your wits about you, when buying discounted lines. as far as im aware, if they price something wrongly & you, the customer complain & make an issue of it, they have to honour it! you should get it at the price on the ticket, in theory most of us don't read the small print, we just see the price pick it up & pay for it!

one thing just come to mind.... yesterday i was driving in victoria, i was at the lights waiting for them to change to green so i could drive, as i was driving off, i noticed a female cyclist was LEANING against my vehicle whilst waiting for the lights to change! she only moved as i started to move my vehicle...... any ideas what this could've been about??? im sure there was potential for a nasty accident to occur!

im not sure if this is appropriate, but i'd like to pose a question..... as the driver of a large vehicle, do cyclists & motorcyclists realise how difficult it can be for drivers of large vehicles to see them? sometimes even sunlight can prevent you from seeing ANYTHING in the mirrors?? i hope not to offend anyone.
