Hi Tibbs Is it clear water? If yes could it be a leak on the supply pipe into your property? Thames Water will come and check for leaks on the supply pipe and repair for free if the old lead pipe needs replacing. Regards, HHBilly

Hi I am having a similar problem but the cause has been found. My cellar was flooding after heavy raain. Problem was a big leak next door that had been going on for many years and the ground had reached saturation point. I started by getting Thames Water to check supply pipes under front path and they could clearly hear the leak was next door.

Hi LoisP I am halfway through getting a new kitchen provided by Homecraft N & C Improvements in South Norwood. Lynsey from N & C designed the layout for me (0208 654 3424) She Came back with options as I too am tight on space so options included integrated appliances or not depending on budget. I am very pleased so far. The kitchen is being installed next week. I am sure these firms will have lists of approved fitters. Best of luck, HHBilly

Three of us went on a weekday about a month ago. We were the only people inside. The food was OK but took so long to arrive we left before the dessert course. Life is too short to wait an hour between courses. Goodness knows how long a Christmas lunch would take.

Me too. Now that the old gas showrooms have long since gone. Where can you buy a simple to operate gas fire without having to have the whole fire surround changed.

Agree with lizbelle6 - take loads of pictures and notes of what's said etc. also think about the security of your property while all this work is going on. It may take weeks/months to complete.
