Good God!! He must be 40-odd years old!! Not that being a pissed up student aged 19 would be an excuse, but you would think that someone of his age was beyond wild childish pranks by now. -

To paraphrase the words of Samuel L Jackson: "That is some repugnant shit" -

Thank you for a fine evening's entertainment at the Emirates Stadium last night my north London cousins. I look forward to visiting again and take the mickey some more in the near future.

It is a question that certainly needed asking. Not sure if it is so many posts per page despite their length or whether it depends on how long each individual post is. hmmmm.....

Very true. Can understand a Waitrose possibly making a more dramatic impact.

Some pretty scathing remarks there. I hope November's issue arrives in good time for bonefire night.

At least 'Absolutely Dulwich' is good for at least one thing and that is getting to find out if we have famous neighbours. I've been rehearsing what I am going to say to Olivia Coleman when I eventually bump into her for weeks.

Fair comment.

Ron70 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Maybe you should leave a notice on your front door > saying "no free post thankyou" or similar? I have considered that. However, I am put off by the aesthetic of having such a note on my door. Plus I believe it sets an unfriendly first impression. Not to mention that *some* unsolicited post is quite handy, i.e 'local electrician' etc. First world problems eh?!

You're having a laugh! It is a complete waste of paper. I get enough rubbish dropped through my door as it is.

Not sure who is responsible for the 'Absolutely Dulwich' freebie magazine but I only hope their sponsors are paying them well. Stylish looking? Asolutely, yes it is. Intelligent? er no it isn't. Elegant? hmmm..it is possibly, but it is filled with absolute dreck. Will 'Absolutely Dulwich' end up in my recycling bin unread? Absolutely.

So basically the Home Office is telling people to use their common sense. Sadly that appears to be in short supply.
