The Oglander, The Heber and as far as I know Hoopers will also be turned into flats unless someone else wants to takeover and that doesn't seem to be happening.

And what is more Ferguson knew that the club needed to rebuild and bring in fresh blood. Ferguson built several great teams in his time there but at 71 probably felt his time was up and felt the need to pass it on to someone else. Moyes has not become a bad manager overnight. He will succeed if given the time and resources.

Mr Ben is spot on in that there has been a persistent bunch of moaners who haven't even stepped through the doors yet. If you must moan about it, do so from experience. I want the place to be successful as I'd hate another pub in the area to close down and turned into flats.

Agree the interior design definitely needs tweaking. Looking on the dining area from the bar it appears to me a bit like a school dinner hall or works canteen. I intend to eat there soon and hope that the food is as superb as you say it is. I've certainly no qualms about the wine list. ;-)

I don't think anyone on here has compared it to West End prices NewWave. I could be wrong of course but I can't be arsed to go through the entire 15 pages of this thread again to check. It's the ?4.40 for a pint of Guinness and ?16.00 for a fecking fry up that gets my goat. Is it a pub that does food or is it a restaurant with a bar? I don't think even the owners can answer that one.
  7. You'd be hard pushed to fill out the Olympic Stadium in the Championship with him in charge - or anyone else come to think of it.
  8. I'm puzzled as to how Spurs lost twice this season to the Hammers. I don't want to take anything away from Nottingham Forest's performance because they were excellent. OK, so West Ham had some youngsters out there today but they were piss poor to a man. BFS has got to go.
  9. Cut out the middle man. Write it yourself.
  10. I'm with BT as well. Mine's been fine. No problems.
  11. Check your guttering. Usually helps.
  12. "hubbie hails from the '90s rave decade." You won't need a guitarist. A 303 and a drum machine will suffice.
  13. Spurs weren't awarded a single penalty last season yet this time around we've had four already. Work that one out.

  17. I think they are horrible but if it helps people to quit then I don't have a problem with that.
  18. I'd like to see those results because quite frankly I don't believe it. Must have been done by a United fan.
  19. NB: Or ask Parkdrive. He hates us. Though I sometimes get the impression he hates Man Utd and Chelsea more and that'll be because he perceives them as more of a threat to Arsenal's title ambitions.
  20. Gareth Bale was apparently booked seven times for diving. Hence we're top of the list. Not our player anymore though. Most of those weren't dives in my opinion, just a case of trying to get out of the way of someone trying to take him out but there were also a few that even I thought were blatant and down right embarrassing. As an aside though I thought Moyes was most ungracious in defeat complaining about refereeing decisions which let's face it at Old Trafford usually go Man Utd's way. Spurs have been on the end of some awful decisions up there in last ten years or so which have cost us dearly. Them's the breaks. Some you win and some you lose. Mostly though down the years there has been far more decisions go your way than anywhere else in the country. I'd like to know how many penalties have been given to the away side up there in the last decade. One? Maybe two at a pinch. You don't have Fergie putting the fear of God into the refs anymore. Better get used to it. As for an unholy north London alliance. You're having a giraffe. Just watch the game tomorrow.

?4.40 for a Guinness. Is that the most expensive in ED?
  22. There is no way the Young challenge was a penalty. He was airborne a long time before Lloris got anywhere near him and Januzaj wasn't touched either. Edited to add a biased opinion.
  23. I love a bit of Abba too. Phwoar! The blonde one. Not half. x
  24. PD. Januzaj has five bookings this season. All for diving. As for that other cunt Young, the less said the better.
  25. Your Xmas rent boy experience out of the bag then.
