  1. I still haven't forgiven Levy for the disgraceful way he sacked Martin Jol, a thoroughly decent man and a bloody good manager despite his recent sacking at Craven Cottage. Anyway, Tim Sherwood is taking charge of first team matters for the time being. Should be an interesting night on Wednesday.
  2. Revealing article on the debacle at Spurs and in particular AVB's deteriorating relationship with Levy. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/tottenham-hotspur/10521678/Tottenham-chairman-Daniel-Levy-and-manager-Andre-Villas-Boas-had-become-distant.html
  3. Age is just a number.
  4. Don't you wish you manager was sacked like ours? Could be singing that on Wednesday night.
  5. Good one Quids, I still play that when called upon to DJ. Have some of this -
  6. Indeed, Laudrup would be perfect but I can't see him leaving Swansea mid-season.
  7. I think not.
  8. Not impressed. Such stupidness. Who's going to takeover? Seems premature to me but that's the modern game.
  9. Yep, that's fair. ?30 million for Lamela and we can't even get him on the pitch. Only Cheriches has been a success as far as I'm concerned, the rest have been piss poor. Too many new signings playing like strangers.
  10. Answering your own posts Mac. Tut tut. Nevertheless, we can't play a high defensive line with someone like Michael Dawson in the back four because of his serious lack of pace. Dawson and Etienne Capoue (who's not really a centre back) were a makeshift pairing yesterday as we have so many injuries at the back. They played together like strangers. Playing Kyle Naughton at left back never works either. He was worse than useless yesterday, so bad he was taken off at half-time. I've nothing against a high line but you need defenders with pace for it to work. Just look at Southampton, who play the same way - seems to work for them. The only players who came out with any credit yesterday were Kyle Walker and Lewis Holtby and maybe Aaron Lennon. The rest of them were just bloody awful. a really bad day at the office. Unfortunately, we're having a few too many of those.
  11. Gertcha! I could pick so many holes in our performance today but I really wouldn't know where to start and I don't want to make any excuses because there is no excuse for a performance like that. We were absolutely bloody awful and Liverpool were superb. It was embarrassing. I've not felt so angry after a game at WHL in a very very long time. I want to keep the faith with AVB but if we lose against West Ham on Wednesday night then I will be shouting louder than anyone that he's got to go. I want my Tottenham back.
  12. Fook! I'd forgotten.
  13. So, Steve Clarke has been sacked. I thought that was a little premature but what do I know. He's obviously a good coach and I reckon he can count himself a little unlucky in his first management job with his team underperforming recently. So he's available, would West Ham fans take him over BFS?
  14. I shouldn't worry Otta, I doubt if anyone had that one as 6-3. Fantastic match to watch.
  15. Otta, I'm not exactly brimming with confidence about a Spurs win but it should be a good game for the neutrals.
  16. Ha! Yes you're right. I'd like a bottle of Ruben Kazan please.
  17. All of them? I don't fecking think so, sunshine.
  18. I'm going, so Spurs better bloody win. Set us up nicely for the Irons next week. Going to that too. COYS!
  19. A headmaster? I was good in the air but never a teacher.

  21. Why don't you start a separate thread on the downfall of Celtic, Mac?
  22. Glad I don't have to go through that shit anymore. The last few I went to were excruciating.
  23. What Quids said.
  24. I fancy Helena Christiansen.
  25. One thing is for sure - he should definitely be given time. Six months in Parkhurst should do it. I jest, two seasons is about right. And get the chequebook out in January.
