  1. "Chicken tikka lasagne." Quelle horreur! Is nothing sacred? I almost vommed at the thought of it.
  2. > Oh and a fun anacdote now I will no longer be > suprised by the ManU score as I was trying to > watch it 'live' on MOTD, at WHL the only cheer on > Boxing Day from the Spuds was when it was > announced that WHU had gone one-nil up. Funnily > enough they didn't announce 1-1, 1-2, 1-3. All > credit to the Bluebird fans today for the noise > they made BTW. I concur. I was there. To be fair I think it is always a bit quiet on Boxing Day. Too many Xmas hangovers. Certainly the quietest I can ever recall at WHL.
  3. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to see Tottenham win away.
  4. Charlie Adam has got away with another horror tackle on one of our players. Paulinho out for at least four weeks after he racked his studs down his ankle ligaments. Dirty bastard.
  5. Just goes to show that in general footballers are still idiots.
  6. I'd forgotten I'd posted 'em a few days ago. Didn't scroll down enough. The site still doesn't seem to have updated properly though.
  7. Anyone else not able to post predictions for tomorrow's games.
  8. It's all gone a bit Pete Tong.
  9. Middle Class Revolt Over Free Loyalty Card At Waitrose http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/waitrose-faces-middleclass-revolt-over-free-coffee-loyalty-card-9030195.html "Our mum has gone to Iceland."
  10. I'm missing a few as well.
  11. I'll have whatever you're on Louisa.
  12. Another underwhelming performance from Spurs today. Bring back Harry, all is forgiven. And while we're at it, can we have Gareth Bale back too please. Liverpool, a little unlucky today but they were up against a side who I think will win the title. It's Man City for me. Anyone else want to make a prediction seeing as we're almost halfway through the season?

  15. It's quite a sensible move by Levy though still a bit of a gamble. He needed to appoint someone PDQ. So he promotes someone from within the club to steady the ship. If he's successful he's seen as a genius messiah and if he's not there will be plenty of top class coaches he can go for in the summer after the World Cup. Personally, I'm fed up with flavour of the month managers. Pottechini at Southampton seems to have been found out too. Six games without a win after such a promising start. A few seasons ago Barcelona appointed from within (Pep Guardiola) someone with no managerial experience and look what happened there. Not saying we're in the same league as them as a club by any stretch of the imagination, just trying to be positive and upbeat about Sherwood's appointment.
  16. AVB had ones too. Didn't help much.
  17. He doesn't need to spend anything. We've done that already. I think he'll give youth a chance. The Bentalab lad who came on against Southampton looked very assured and confident, is a good example. I don't want us wasting anymore money. I'd like to see Tom Carroll back from his loan spell at QPR, he has a good eye for a pass. You won't see him being overly cautious and playing two holding midfielders home or away. I think we'll be much for cavalier in our attitude so we can expect some high scoring entertaining games where we'll concede plenty but hopefully score more than the opposition. Good luck to him. COYS!
  18. Oh, I don't know we don't seem to have one. Adeybayor has suddenly come good though now he's getting some game time and the transfer window is opening soon. Strange coincidence that. Good win for us today though, so I'm not complaining.
  19. Sturridge was doing pretty good before he got injured and last season they won more games without Suarez than they did with him. Strange but true fact fans.
  20. You're nitpicking BNG. As StraferJack has so succinctly put it if you work in that lines of business you shouldn't be spouting that sort of stuff on social media.
  21. Well, what has she just done? I think you've answered your own question there.
  22. Putting the Farcebook/Twit debate aside. The fact is that if that is what she wrote she is a fecking stupid ignorant racist cow and deserves to be sacked.
