  3. Let It Bleed - The Rolling Stones.
  4. It was all part of the hype to sell tickets and put fear in his opponents. I thought he did it in a very entertaining way but when other people do it these days they do look a bit of a cock. NB: Frasier wouldn't have been able to lay a glove on him in '67. He was too fast. Three and a half years out of the ring is a very long time in boxing. Also, I thought Ali won the first fight in '71. He was robbed of that one.
  5. Stay Away - Blondie.

Frazier was > one I think? I was at the fight, well live at the cinema. It was Harry Carpenter and Ali was 32. He was stripped of the title for refusing to fight in the Vietnam War in 1967 when he was in his prime and untouchable. He never lost the title to Frazier. He beat him twice and lost in the first fight which was to try and regain his title after his ban. Lost his title to Leon Spinks and Ken Norton after susbseqeuntly having his jaw broken in the first round but beat them both to regain his titles.

  8. Easy Skanking - Bob Marley & The Wailers.
  9. Your Mum? Are you trying to make feel old? Thanks Tillie. x
  10. Another boyhood idol. The King of the world. The absolute greatest of all times. Muhammed Ali
  11. I still have my original copy of this glorious 45 from '69.
  12. Not me. Week before payday and too skint after Christmas.
  13. From 1965 I've picked this because of my boyhood hero Jimmy Greaves who got two in this match, the third goal being an absolute corker where runs right through the United defence, past the keeper and slots it in the back of the net. Genius.
  14. Starfucker - The Rolling Stones.
  15. jimmy two times Wrote: "He knows he'll never get the chance with Harry so I guess his attitude may be why bother." * * * * Come on isn't that a very poor attitude to have. He should be busting a gut to get into the team. Unfortunately, he isn't. You know as well as I do no one has a divine right to play. You have to earn your place. Anyway, I think we've got a really good chance of winning at Anfield this weekend. Come on you Spurs!
  16. Jonathan Ross is the best at what he does and he does it well. I like his quick fire wit and I enjoy his Friday night show. I sincerely hope he is not snapped up by Murdoch and would like to see him back on Channel 4.

Bentley has been living off that goal against Arsenal ever since and it was way back in October of 2008. What's he done since then? Fack all! Who would you take out of the current Spurs midfield to accomodate him? That's Lennon, Huddlestone, Palacious and Kranjcar who are all playing really well at the moment and deserve their place in the team that's also bearing in mind you've still got Modric and Jenas waiting in the wings trying to get in there too. And we've not conceded a goal in five games either.
  18. Judas!
  19. Song For Guy - Elton John.
  20. Exactly. Yes, a good player. Works hard with the talent he has unlike Bentley. He's gone on loan to get more games and experience under his belt. With the squad we have at Spurs he wasn't going to get many games this season especially with the arrival of Nico Kranjcar
  21. AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
  22. That's bollocks. He aspired to be the new David Beckham. Beckham's got no pace yet he plays on the wing and has never had to beat his man to get a cross in. Agreed, he has all the attributes needed to be a good player but he doesn't work hard enough whether being played in the middle or on the flanks. The trouble with Bentley is he is not prepared to put in the hard work to improve his game. His ego is bigger than his talent.

Is it just me but it would already seem that young Jack Wilshire is already heading in that direction. I think the term is now called Bentleyitis.
  24. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Pelvis - Barry Adamson & Jarvis Cocker.
