I know it's too early to write them off Keef and sorry for missing the winking smiley Sandperson but I can't see Liverpool in the equation and the end of the season. Their squad simply isn't strong enough and they haven't the money to go out and spend on the three or four players they need despite the ?30 million they received for Alonso. There is a lot of behind the scenes squabbling between the two American owners and Benitez seems to have his hands tied financially and because of that it really wouldn't surprise me if he resigns or is sacked.

I'd discount them at your peril Sandperson especially if they turn you over at the weekend. They may not be the finished article yet and with Fabregas out injured things could get a little wobbly for them but I'd never write them off and they've been very impressive so far.
