And I saw that make up (and Joanna > Whalley) close up. Ick ick Joanna Whalley...swoon swoon! (heart goes all a flutter). She was absolutely gorgeous. She could have had me you know..if she'd played her cards right. Sigh!
  4. Yes, but his name escapes me for the moment. He was my housemaster at the time. I was in Wren house. You'd have been there when Linton Kwesi Johnson was there then?

We'd get on the fast train to Peckham Rye going through North Dulwich station and hurl loads of stuff out of the train windows at the Billy Biro kids and then get the train back the other way and out on the opposite platform to where all the Penn kids were going back to East Dulwich, Peckham and beyond.
  9. School of hard knocks and the University of Life. That's my education. Oh! and Dulwich Hamlet Infants and Juniors. I loved it there but at Tulse Hill there were 2,000 kids there and it was really tough.
  10. Yes! I did. Or should I say occasionally, as I bunked off most of the time. I was there between '69 and '74. I walked out and told them to stick it up their arse. Terrible place. The only thing it taught me was to be street-wise.
  11. Wembley, Wembley! We're the famous Tottenham Hotspur and we're going to Wembley. Wembley, Wembley! We're the famous Tottenham Hotspur and we're going to Wembley. Large Jack Daniel's and Coke please LadyGooner. 5-1 to the Tottenham, 5-1 to the Tottenham, 5-1 to the Tottenham, 5-1 to the Tottenham!

  16. I'm Free - The Who
  17. Well Keef, if we beat the Arsenal tonight and go on to lift the Cup I for one won't be missing Martin Jol. I still think he was treated very unfairly by the Spurs board. He is a very good coach and he'll certainly be back.
  18. Never deprive yourself the things you enjoy in life - that's my motto.
  19. Benitez it would seem is being put under the same sort of pressure that Martin Jol was at the beginning of the season and we all know what happened there.
  20. Ganja Free - Clancy Eccles

  23. I thought he'd make some changes from the first leg. Three or four more experienced players in. I'm pretty sure Gallas will be skippering Arsenal tonight. Did you manage to get any tickets Atila? I'll be in the West Stand with my mate who has two season tickets. We've been going to White Hart Lane together since we were kids back in the 60s.
  24. Bus to Lewisham (P4, 185 or 484) DLR to City Airport.
  25. With the late great Vivian Stanshall this is fantastically surreal. Ruddles Beer
