From Jezza - "I would consult with women and open it up to hear their views on whether women-only carriages would be welcome." What? A politician who wants to listen to voters views and then open up the discussion to see if a possible policy was wanted by the public? Good grief! We wouldn't want that, now would we?" Last year, Claire Perry, a Conservative junior transport minister, said the idea of women-only carriages was interesting, but it does not appear to have been taken forward by her department. But if someone like Corbyn suggests such a thing he's a fecking loony lefty with silly ideas.
  2. That idea is at least two years old and it wasn't originally Corbyn's. And the 'story' only says "could" and "talks of consultation" and "pilot studies." Just more crap from the Tory press.
  3. FFP doesn't seem to work does it.
  4. Ideally we'd have four or five players competing for places up front but we're not Man Utd, City or Chelsea. We don't have the seemingly endless resources that they do.
  5. He does look knackered and I'm not completely against the idea of buying someone like Austin but our recent signing Clinton Njie can play through the middle as well as out wide. Having two out and out centre forwards in the first team means one player is always going to miss out.
  6. Yep! Looks like that that move is be back on. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-hams-loan-move-emmanuel-6309248#rlabs=1

The OP is alluding to his/her time on the forum.
  8. From a Spurs point of view Austin is too similar to Kane. We need someone slightly different to play off him, hence our interest in Berahino and our purchase of Clinton Njie both of whom can more easily enable us twiddle with our system allowing us to play 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 instead of continuously playing 4-2-3-1 with Harry isolated up front on his own. While we're at it. Any takers for the wage thief? Come on, someone must want him.
  9. I've got a black belt in origami.
  10. Seeing as we're now into the final week of the transfer market what and who do you want at your club and what realistically to you expect to happen. At Spurs our recent record isn't too good after largely wasting most of the Bale money two seasons ago. I expect Daniel Levy will be up to his usual last minute car boot sale bargain hunting tricks or because he's left it too late spunking the lot on a load of shit. What has been abundantly clear is that we need another striker to accompany Harry Kane so stop fart arsing about and pay the fecking money for Berahino. Also we're desperate for an experienced holding midfielder. Wanyama could work but would also be very costly prizing him away from Southampton. I'd really like to see some more flair in midfield too. Someone who can spot a pass and chip in with a few goals. I'd happily take Oscar off of Chelsea's hands if he is now surplus to requirements since Pedro's arrival. Speaking of Chelsea, they pay just ?21 million for a bona fide winner in Pedro but Spurs laid out ?30 million for an inexperienced kid in Lamela two seasons ago and we're still waiting for him to come good. Makes you bloody sick. But that's my club. Too often flattering to deceive.
  11. Yep!
  12. Bargain! How long is that offer running for?
  13. Guess which formerly goal shy ex-Spurs player scored on his away debut in Spain tonight?
  14. It was confirmed a long time ago it's going to be a M&S Local.
  15. Some of the comments underneath the article are pure gold.
  16. Popped in yesterday after the match at Champion Hill. Very impressed. Nice bar area and seating. Sat out back in the garden (which has been vastly improved). Very pleasant and efficient staff and the burgers looked amazing though I didn't try one but looking forward to doing so. Nice selection of ales. A big thumbs up from me. Will definitely be going back.
  17. Hmmm... I wonder how long it'll be before you start supporting Bournemouth.
  18. What is this thread? Neighbours chatting over the (EDF) garden fence?

  21. The Gandhi Foundation International Peace Award for 2013 was awarded to Jeremy Corbyn, MP. Hmm... I wonder why the press has chosen to suppress this information. http://gandhifoundation.org/2014/01/09/the-gandhi-foundation-international-peace-award-2013/
  22. Previous owners long gone.
  23. All this backstabbing shows what a mess they've become and why people were so reluctant to vote for them at the last election.
  24. I hadn't. He sounds a right cunt. Still, it doesn't detract from all the bullshit we've been fed by the health fascists being paid by Big Pharma.
