Well I think I have a new record - package of documents (thick A4 envelope) sent to East Africa June 2022. Was sent tracked and appeared to disappear into a warehouse in South Africa …. It was finally delivered last week … 🙂 I don’t actually think Royal Mail were the culprits for once!

Really sorry tohear this - incredibly unlucky and very unusual for both Dulwich and Peckham parks. (I have been a dog owner 12 years and never had any experience of this) what sorts of dogs were they? I’m assuming not the same each time - and did you see the owners? I wonder if there is someone new to the area - will def keep an eye out going forward . I do hope your pup is ok.

I would ask for more info from the estate agent about what private owners have been presented with in the last 10 years. Ask for specifics - They can will say any old guff. It’s things like roof repairs which may not affect you directly but which you are responsible for paying a share of which can be pretty £££. Good luck!

I’m afraid it’s not uncommon now - hospitality is having it very tough with spiralling costs and staffing issues- imagine buying in food and getting staff in for customers who don’t show up - they are not be greedy but protecting their business.

No there was a case of a wiemaraner being poisoned on Peckham rye but this was a couple of years ago.. the rat traps popped around the park are very clearly marked and tend to be around the ponds inside the railings don’t know enough about the stagnant water, but the main pond (and wildlife garden pond) are behind railings so should not be a problem. The other stream areas are clear running water so should be fine?

I cannot stand him - and I am old school labour. His behaviour and demeanour at the CPZ consultations spoke volumes. He has wasted £k’s on consultations - the results of which were then ignored. The postage costs of materials that arrived after the shut off dates ( plus loads that were never received at all). His utter disregard for people who are disabled or do not have ready access to public transport, plus the numerous caregivers who get no more pay for sitting in gridlock.
