Today (11.30) there was a young man (small, white with beard) behaving very violently towards the two dogs he owns. (Nunhead lane/consort road) I have sussed out where he lives and reported to council and police. If anyone has any further info please PM - but please don’t want an online pile on. Went to sainsbos today... needed to get some animal supplies that I cannot get anywhere else. It seems to be a bit of a shambles. Lots of empty shelves/aisles. It just all seems odd - they started something 3 weeks ago that they have not got sorted. On the plus side, I have met up with lots of friends wandering around equally distracted, and had alovely catch up, and secondly, I cannot find alot of items so am saving loads of £££. I am thinking there is either some grand master plan for xmas, or the company is in financial trouble.....

There is usually some sort of Xmas festivities at the northcross road market on a Saturday before Xmas, and there is also Pexmas which is the Peckham one off rye lane. Think west Dulwich also do something? Best of luck

Sorry but rather disappointed in Southwark at the moment - riding rough shod over residents, the many cultural events are private companies using our public spaces with very little explanation of the revenue gleaned and how it is spent. Implementation of traffic schemes that are damaging our small independent businesses plus a complete disregard for the opinions of the actual residents- plus of course the revelations on video of housing issues. The only good thing I can think of is the adventure playgrounds for children tho of course Dog Kennel Hill had to publicly crowdfund to try and get improvements to the facilities offered (inc the loos)

Terrified of dentists after childhood trauma of drill happy chap in the 1970's - I need a dentist who can deal with a complete wimp... TIA

The issue is that local our vets were originally independent businesses charging ‘normal’ fees but were taken over by chains hiking up the prices. Another example - I have an elderly long haired moggy who used to get a bit matted. I would take her to my vet who would shave off the mats and charge £25-£30. They were taken over by a large chain. When I went again for the same service I was quoted £225 - for consultation, sedation, hospitalisation etc- i of course declined but it clearly shows the massive escalation
