Oh gosh - I waited a good 10 mins for a repeat prescription this morning whilst the 2 pharmacists were busy discussing cars…. Had to call to them that there was a queue waiting to be served… doesn’t bode well.

Sorry but rather disappointed in Southwark at the moment - riding rough shod over residents, the many cultural events are private companies using our public spaces with very little explanation of the revenue gleaned and how it is spent. Implementation of traffic schemes that are damaging our small independent businesses plus a complete disregard for the opinions of the actual residents- plus of course the revelations on video of housing issues. The only good thing I can think of is the adventure playgrounds for children tho of course Dog Kennel Hill had to publicly crowdfund to try and get improvements to the facilities offered (inc the loos)

I am keen to get feedback on the best Dentist in the areafor very nervous patients - there used to be a lovely lady at the Dentist above Lloyds but she has long gone. Terrified of dentists after childhood trauma of drill happy chap in the 1970's - I need a dentist who can deal with a complete wimp... TIA

The issue is that local our vets were originally independent businesses charging ‘normal’ fees but were taken over by chains hiking up the prices. Another example - I have an elderly long haired moggy who used to get a bit matted. I would take her to my vet who would shave off the mats and charge £25-£30. They were taken over by a large chain. When I went again for the same service I was quoted £225 - for consultation, sedation, hospitalisation etc- i of course declined but it clearly shows the massive escalation

On a recent trip to France, I had to take my dog to a French vet for tapeworm tablet and ‘fit to travel’ inspection before our return to the uk. My dog was a bit itchy - a reaction to a different pollen the vet thought, so administered and anti histamine injection. The whole consult lasted 30 mins and cost 60 euros. On my return, one of my cats had a urine infection so took her to a local vet - 15 min consult plus antibiotics cost me £150 …. That really brought it home to me how much we are being ripped off.

They probably want an ID and that shows address?

I guarantee they are NOT listening to businesses…. The shops in Dulwich Village have had several meetings with the council regarding the negative impact the LTN’s have had on their businesses and have been utterly disregarded.

How can we find out the names of our local councillors (think there is an info page somewhere on the EDF) James thank you for attending this evening’s meeting regarding the above and trying to answer the many residents questions and concerns. You were put in a very difficult situation and I sympathise. However, you must understand that people genuinely feel that they have been dumped on from high above. There is no problem with pollution and parking in the many residential areas that the proposed CPZ is going to be installed. Rather than claim we all responded to a questionnaire in 2019, just say, - "after 12 years of underfunding, we cannot balance the books and we think people with cars can contribute", it might be accepted as a reality. HOWEVER you are going to kill the golden goose. Dulwich Village businesses have seen a clear 15% downturn in trade since the introduction of the LTNs, coupled with with a 30% increase in overheads — it looks grim. If you start to make it difficult for all the independent businesses on Lordship Lane/Forest hill road and elsewhere, to have passing trade, then you are going to destroy what is so special about this south london enclave. I am also very concerned about how the teachers who work in the many local schools are going to manage. I am hoping you are aware that the average Teacher Salary will not cover buying a house in East Dulwich - how are these essential workers going to manage? - I hope they will get in an exemption? Ditto health professionals making house calls to patients needing home health visits - please assure us that these will be assured free parking. I am sure that given the massive machinery put in place to manage this additional bureacracy this will be appropriately managed. I look forward to a response.

I think if they were more honest they might get a better reception. Rather than claim we all responded to a consultation in 2019 where we all expressed concerns about XYZ, if they just said, "after 12 years of reduced budgets, we are broke, we need to find some money and we think people with cars can afford to pay something, there might be a slightly more receptive audience but this nonsense of 'you told us you were concerned' line makes us distrust them. It was quite clear the people who turned up who were Southwark Employees were totally out of their depth and had no remit to respond to anything. Would like to add that they need to address public workers and health visitors...

Yes, the bottom line is that southwark is broke and cannot maintain the roads. They are looking to use the revenue from the CPZ to fund repairs. They are not able to do anything about gardens being paved over to avoid the costs. I am keen to know how they think Teaches who travel to their place of work are meant to deal with this - ditto health care workers visiting patients. I plan to email the councillors directly for comments as tempers were running very high at the meeting and I think they were overwhelmed by the turnout and general feeling of residents.

I am a frequent cyclist in the area (I commute to work 3 days a week on my bike) I do not like the LTNS as they have created stationary traffic on East Dulwich Grove which one has to navigate. I then turn down Carlton Ave to the Junction with the lights. This junction now feels very unsafe - the lack of cars means that there is a free for all - the normal rules of the road don't apply. Lots of cyclists ignoring the lights completely, whilst children on bikes/scooters/scateboards are all over the show. Plus of course those cargo bikes jumping the lights)I do, of course, slow down, (and actually obey the cycle lights) but one never knows whats going to happen. The south circular is usually stationary (exascerbated by the thames water works) but again, I can use the shared space cycle paths but the pollution is just not good. For me the ultimate negative is the affect on public transport... esp any buses using the south circular - such as the P13 which serves alot of the schools in west dulwich. I think alot of people are very keen on active travel anyway - take away the traffic jam LTNs and I suspect all the cycle users will continue to increase.

The cost of BT sports and sky sports to pubs, in many cases, outweigh any income that showing the games may generate

I think a lot of the problems are not caused by legit line users, but lots of the youngsters who use them - just forcing thru the brake (if you hear the bike clattering that is the case) I think there is also some sort of kudos in leaving them in really stupid places….

Over 2 weeks waiting for a bank card….

I know lots of children who have gone there very happily. Secondary schools are quite a big change however I believe that year 7’s are given their own playground so as not to be overwhelmed by the big kids (hopefully still the case) they soon get used to the hurly burly of big school. I went to a single sex school so was adamant that mine would go to mixed!!! Good luck
