  1. "wearing a beret and with thick make-up"...........if there is one thing guaranteed to get ones pecker up its decsriptions like this!:(...if a person or group of people have clearly seen the suspect, why is there not a fuller description, including Colour of skin and any other distinguishing features?..Either people are genuinely trying to give all of us the best possible chance of recognising the suspect or not.If not, seems a pretty pointless exercise,if so give us the shoe size,if possible. Naturally do not want to adversely affect the (presumably) Womans 'Uman Rights, you get me,like.. As for: the Tongue-In-Cheek b) "East Dulwich has gone to the dogs and I'm getting out of London and running to the country where there's no crime".....its all about the SCALE of crime. There WAS a murder in The Orkney Islands recently(td),albeit the first one for 25 years(tu)....surely no-one is suggesting that the chances of innocently becoming a victim are equal in a random rural environment. It would be re-assuring to think that the crime in East Dulwich is so low that there will "only" be one murder within its environs in the next 25 years!(I know "one" is still too many)...
  2. Just seen the Swedish Video compared to Geordieland.Hard one to call-bet those Geordie Girls have got a better sense of humour than those Swedes.Thats what its all about,innit?..Well,isn't it?.I mean what kind of shallow person would prefer those sizzling Swedes?
  3. As Idi Amin used to say "Whats good for the goose is good for Uganda"...
  4. Indeed Hon!...Best to keep the film topical so she and her posse should be extremely violent and randomly murder their victims for a bit of Banter and send them to Bloody Hell:))
  5. I understand perfectly well that it is Honourable, reasonable, fair and humane not to have any Prejudice. This is 100% correct ...but couldn't we just make a very small exception for The Welsh please.... ;) After all we used to quite dislike them in the days before Racism was bad:))
  6. Could have just told him he's Australasian. That would have cheered him up...
  7. Thanks for the update Jah Lush...I had completely forgotten about Steve Waller's death which thru' the joys of Serendipity,I chanced upon hearing about it then..Seem to recall The West Country being his home...Rod Roche was a Jam Musician,as I remember..There is a similar looking Guy to SS living near me who I stopped but it was not him,unfortunately...Must find out what happened to The Foster Brothers(Graham was one)...used to play the South London Circuit."Count Me Out" was a good single from them. "Rory"!!!!!!Biggest regret that I did not see Rory Gallagher in the 1970's/1980's-would have been tremendous-I used to play a mean Air Guitar....sadly STILL do!:))
  8. Sorted Hon..I've done a bit of Duckin' 'n Divin',Bobbin' 'n Weavin' you know what I mean?..Safe. "All we need is a lot of money, a script and talent. "...'fraid I can't help on the Filthy Lucre or Talent Departments. In fact,I haven't got a script either but I'm ready, willing and able.Indeed I will be "Able" to Sir Michael's "Cain(e))B)
  9. Most Unseemly..
  10. LOL..Some things do i.r.o the "68" though!...East Lane Market to Crystal Palace FC=2 shillings 6 pence i.e 12 pence! Used to leave 5 minutes from the end and pray a Bus would come.If not 20,000 would all be walking in front of the route (or so it seemed!) and I would still be there 1 hour later as more than 40 people(Max) would have walked to the previous stops by then!
  11. Not when I was working there in the South Wing in 1971 it wasn't! p.s Where HAVE the last 37 years gone?..."68" to The Strand,as I recallB)
  12. Why doesn't someone ask Jeny Agutter?
  13. Apparently he prefers to be called Chaz...well so his M8 Dave told me anyway...
  14. Stevie Smith and Friends at The Half Moon(near enough) regularly back in the day.)...Guy with a hunchback playing the Harp...Is he still around please?........"Walking On Gilded Splinters"...talking about the Late 1970's...a mere 30 years ago.
  15. My good friends next-door neighbours Wife used to regularly entertain one of the Actors mentioned during the day while her beloved Husband was at work in ED if that counts(6)B) ....maybe they had a mutual love of Scrabble....?...certainly seemed a great deal of scrabbling around,apparently..:)
  16. Just call the average Jock "English" or even "British" down Sauchiehall Streetand you might get the general idea! I was walking with my (then) tall, slim,Jamaican g/f in Princes Street,Edinburgh.I was not talking yet the Girl who was walking with a Guy coming towards us said "English B***rd" as they passed and carried on their merry way:)) Charmed,I'm sure:)
  17. He's the personification nae veritable embodiment of all that is wrong about todays society. Talk about the "bland" leading the "bland"...has NO Personality or Character or Guts or Opinion..anything even mildly controversial and not "pc" he laughs nervously and says "moving swiftly on"..No B*lls,Mamby-Pamby product of excessive State intervention with no redeeming features(apart from a Cute little Dimple on his cheek-Bless)...No-Good Son-Of-A-****((!)(td)... btw:I'm not a fan...
  18. "I am not anti-tree per se but I think they should be kept to appropriate areas." ...Just seen this thread.I,absolutely concur PerCy(6)..I see you have listed the myriad of problems that come with having trees so kindly arrange to bundle them up and I will transport them to The Suburbs of South London(as a favour,like)..after all we only have Shepherdlees Woods/Falconwood/Jackwood/Oxleas Wood/Borstal Hills/Pleasance Park/Avery Hill Park/Eltham Park/Danson Park/Footscray Meadows/Chislehurst Woods/Mottingham Woods/Hall Place/Jordans Woods/Cedar Fields/Sidcup Fields/Sutcliffe Park within a 8 mile radius to accommodate them:))..
  19. Greatest fear - retaining my thinking mind but losing control of my body - being unable to walk, talk, see or hear. It is the ultimate lock up. ...Co-Sign. Selfishly, death itself. When I get REALLY old,I will have to do a very convincing job on myself to persuade me all will be well and there will be a future after death.Fear of leaving loved ones behind including pets that no-one can explain where "Daddy" has gone to.A terrible thought As I enjoy life thoroughly and am so grateful for the miracle of life itself I fear getting depressed when I am old and can only see the Cemetary Gates approaching fast!
  20. Dulwich Hamlet one week,Corinthian Casauls the next(starring Chris Joy who played around 660 games for C.C.....those were the dayz:)
  21. Who has had the ghoul to ask this?
  22. They probably shook hands after! Saw a bizarre incident at a Millwall/Palace game.Fight between 2 Guys on the way home.Crowd gathered.Fought a draw for a few minutes and shook hands and went their seperate ways:)
  23. Lucky Stars-Dean Friedman
  24. Guy goes into a Bar and orders a drink.Whilst at the Bar he hears "Hi! I have to say you are looking really attractive tonight Its great to see you again!" The Guy looks round to see the comments are coming from a Bowl of Peanuts on the side of the Bar.Strange,he thinks. He goes over to the Juke Box but sees it is not working. Before he walks away the Juke Box growls at him "What you again?..I've told you before, you are not welcome here:(. He returns to The Bar thinking how weird this all is.He says to The Barman."Whats occurring here?.The bowl of peanuts tells me how great I am while the Juke Box abuses me!"."Ah! Thats easy" says The Barman."The nuts are complimentary but the Juke Box is out of order!"....
  25. ChavWivaLawDegree Wrote: The kids we are talking about are hardly in the same league as the kind of career criminals you are talking about. ...They are indeed only "Vauxhall Conference" at this stage but unless the right deterrents are in place I fear that many will make The Premiership:(
