On the other hand she wants to go Camping with our combined 6 Dogs in The Lake District, in 2 weeks time. She mentioned, after the above comment, that "that doesn't stop someone having a fling though" and she invited me to stay over a few weeks ago..so???
  2. Mick Mac Wrote: Are women really attracted by money? Do bears do poo-poohs in the woods? :)) Reading between the lines I got put in my place very recently. By complete accident I met up, in October 2008 with someone who went off 33 years ago, in 1976, "with someone much older" when I was seeing her "on and off". We have met frequently since that incredible fluke that we met up again ( I won't bore you with the details but it was 1,000-1 shot--spooky if you believe in "fate") ...anyway the Guy has died and left her a massive Detached House in Hampshire to add to the even bigger detached house that I visited last week in Park Langley, Bromley which was left to her by her Parents. We went to that Docklands Show on the water and then she slipped in the magic phrase "Anyone who settles down with someone who is NOT in the same financial situation as themselves is mad...." lol...I can take a hint...:))

It may be masochistic "fun", initially, to be pushed, threatened, terrifed and penned by police "just doing their job"? for some but when you add being smacked over the head by a truncheon wielding horse riding officer of le law, leading to fear, frustration and ultimately, potential violence as some have said, then, on balance, I'm not in favour......

  7. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Perhaps he is from Kent after all. Soon will be. If you had perused his kit bag really closely you would have seen a brochure extolling the virtues of Chatham Docks where my informants tell me he is hoping to put down a deposit on a nearby residence....

  9. *Bob* Wrote: He's got a foul mouth on him. I saw him shout 'c*nt' at least three times. Soap and water, Murray, soap and water. No! "Our" Andy actually said "You Can't" its short for "You Can NOT be serious" as I understand a former Tennis Star used to say....
  10. This is exactly why I am enjoyimg my 50th year watching Sport since The 1960 Grand National and 1961 Cup Final. 3 Hours 57 Minutes that enthralled, enraptured and enthused all who ran through the whole gamut of emotions with Andy. Here's too the next round...>:D<

  16. ANDREW MURRAY: "Some of my family is English, my girlfriend is English, I work with two English fitness trainers, my coach is from Zimbabwe, but if you ask him where he's from he's English. I have an English physio, I live down here in London now, and I have a lot of English friends...." England's pride wins 3rd Set in style....>:D<

  23. david_carnell Wrote: All of this is only my experiences and therefore come with the pros and cons associated with 1st-hand sources. Now we will have to temporarily shelve our "entente cordiale" to disagree on this. Many times you have disparaged individual "anecdotal" evidence or "examples". I'm of the belief, however, that if enough people all pretty much feel/say/think the same thing over a given topic then there is more than a semblance of creedence to it, while you have, I'm sure you'll agree, been very dismissive of individual anecdotes to illustrate or proove a point over a given situation. So at this early juncture I'm afraid we need more, much more, to decide whether "kettling" is or is not legitimate dave...
