A pleasing diversion from hearing about ManU/Arsenal/Liverpool et al. Shame that the gap between the Top Division and the others seems to get wider each year. Long gone are the days of seasoned Internationals not playing in the Top Division, sadly. Prediction: Hull to go close to regaining their Prem. status in 2010/11.

Anyone going this year and is it a matter of queueing for a day pass?

I still have my "Chester Barnes-Frying Pan Shaped" Bat! I kid you not. Cost me 50 pence in 1974 and I used it for 15 years. Different colours each side with different pimples each side, one "slow" and one "fast". It was easier to deceive an opponent with a "twiddle" b4 the Law was changed to have 2 different colurs to each side. Before both sides looked the same and you can imagine the fun I had! Sometimes I played a like-minded player and got hoist with my own petard but I played in The Central London League ( Premier) and Westminster Summer League for nearly 15 years in each League. Great days and some fabulous battles!

Here's a selection of possible reasons LegalEale-ish: It can often make you sleepy, I think the salt in the air makes your body work harder so you feel tired, but all the running and walking at the seaside around you do on the beach will add to it .. Its the exposure to the sun, not necessarily the air that can make everyone feel tired. The sea air makes you tired because there is less polution in the air and more oxygen. Yes, you are probably getting more exercise. But consider the other factor, less stress. You can finally take a deep breath and relax. The ocean puts you into a state of meditation. Add that to the sun shining on you then you lay down and fall asleep, with nothing on your mind except the sea, wind and sand. Sweet Dreams.....

Santerme: Thursday: History Museum, Kensington, Kensington Park Gardens, Chelsea, Brixton. Today: North or South Downs in West Sussex. Monday: Beautiful local 300 acre meadows complete with Nature Reserve, gorgeous Lake and waterfalls and 50 different breeds of dogs. Tuesday: Hampstead ( including "Heath" )... Sun/Mon/Tues Weather permitting. Every area has its compensations, but from half-a-mile out on the edge of London, I honesty feel its the ideal base for returning to the heart of London in 20-odd minutes, going into the heart of the Country in 20-odd minutes and enjoying the tranquillity of The Suburbs ( where most lights are out by 10.30 latest during the week)...

I KNOW I was, wrongly, accused of viewing and taking figures from Stormfront which I am about as "au fait" with as an average other EDF Forumite. At least I have heard of Stormfront, I have never even heard of "The Truth etc" can I assume that this Site is not Stormfront?
