    Some time ago I was at the self service till in the LL Poundland and found myself without my bank card. I was scrabbling to get the amount due in cash but was some 20 p short. The manager came over and put his hand in his pocket to cover the cost . Pretty helpful and nice in my book.

    I've just popped out (Wednesday) to post a card .Collection times listed as 9am.But the little metal plate indicates Friday as the next day for collection . Are these metal plates accurate ? Or are they not changed ,maybe a faff to do so are left ?

    That is sad. I much prefer to read papers as such and not digitally. Years ago the SLP used to have a double page spread titled"Your neighbour in court"
