  1. Brother and sister in law live opposite hospital . Visited yesterday and forgot to take the lovely bunch of flowers I'd bought for them . Hoping that by the magic of Christmas someone might be going that way and could drop them off /leave on doorstep .Which is well away from road .
  2. Don't need a certificate but I am also looking for someone to attend to faulty ignition on coal effect gas fire .
  3. Revive My Device https://share.google/q8JeGtKUYK7WSwbDk I can't find enough words to recommend this firm. Know their stuff , kind ,patient and helpful. And won't rob you. Brockley.cross.
  4. Could you post the measurements please?
  5. Any takers ? Two drawers , carcass assembled, doors removed. Legs etc available. Also wood for top. Can deliver but would need help loading.Any takers ?
  6. there used to be a stall on Northcross Road saturday market that sold knitted items in DH colours . But I guess a knitted garment might not work for a dog .
  7. Would anyone like this ? It does have marks on the wood and the upholstery could do with a freshen up but is not worn. Could deliver if you are local.
  8. On Peckham rye east , same side as Angel Oak
  9. Looks fab. Have you got the dimensions?
  10. what are the measurements of this please ? (asking for a friend ! )
  11. Completely agree. I always go to them for any keys I need cutting and have used them when I've had trouble with a front door lock. They never opt for an expensive solution if a serviceable alternative exists. They are friendly, helpful and polite. They restore my faith in humanity every time I use them.
  12. The universe ( in the form of kind and observant Emily1011) has returned my keys to me . Thank you Emily !!!
  13. We have had a few cat flaps over the years but none have been electronic. They just have a small clip that you turn to lock or open. Some come with a magnet and a matching magnet that the cat wears on its collar This prevents other cats entering. I've not used these as I don't like the idea of a cat wearing a collar. Cats do like to be out at night and you need to encourage yours to return after a late evening sortie. Calling, rustling treat wrappers worked for ours but he seems to have now got into the habit of coming back about 9pm. without this.
  14. Thanks ,as ever 🙂,Sue . Definitely sent in error .Caused huge upset .
  15. Can anyone help me understand how this might have happened. Friend has suddenly seen a document appear in her documents folder on her iPad. It's clearly a draft of a communication written by her solicitor concerning her and intended for a third party. It's not an email. I don't understand how this can have happened. Could it be that the solicitor has inadvertently clicked something while saving the file and the cloud has shared it with the client to whom the document relates? Anyone offer an explanation?
  16. Have evaporated or possibly slipped through a gap in the time continuum.
  17. oh ,i like the sound of that Earl.. Sue - good point about seats of choice ,I hadn't considered that .I too prefer a long bus ride to getting on off tubes ,trains etc .( insert tiny violin emoji to express how dreadful it is for us Londoners to have to suffer so many transport choices ) A taxi is a possibility and has been preferred transport in previous visits. Friend's preference ,type of treatment ,general health ,state of mind and cognition will all be factors in choice . Still I guess AI can work with all those variables .
  18. Moovart - I know ,its tricky .Maybe we could get a 37 to clapham common and pick up the 345 there ,a chance to move . or train from Denmark Hill to CC and then bus ? Aaargh .Must get on with the washing up .
  19. Thanks Earl, bit concerned about exiting South Ken. Thanks Angelina.i think the problem with the route planners is lack of nuance eg doesn't have to be completely step free .
  20. Chatgpt suggests a 345 bus from Peckham bus garage . I think this would work well. Thank you so much Sue for recommending Chatgpt.
  21. It would be from junction East Dulwich Rd /Peckham Rye and is for a friend . I am looking at TFL sites ,inc step free stations .Feeling buses might be better option . Walking is ok ,but difficulties with knees makes steps painful though 2 or 3 are manageable. I'm thinking that District/Circle line from Victoria would have escalators but I don't know what the exit at South Ken would be like . Anyone familiar ?
  22. Have you notified the police if you feel he's missing or in a vulnerable position?
