  2. oh god Jah! Mr MW74 loves loves loves the FanClub. You better be going on the 21st. You two have some music to chat about. I'll just sit listening and drink. :)
  3. yeah that's him. I think he must be on the fiddle then, because he was fresh out of Kings, still had the wristband on! He was supping on some Tennants I remember and need money for food........
  4. yes ClareC there is this guy with the most horrific scar on the lower half of his neck, the two sides of skin are BOLTED together with metal stitches. He came up to me a while back and asked me for money. I adopted my best street slang (years of living on Murder Mile in Clapton!) and said I was broke. I knew that he has terrified people with his looks and have seen people running the opposite way when he approaches them. So I stood face to face with the guy and chatted to him. Treated him like a human being that he is. He thanked me for doing so and said that I was the only person who hadn't screwed up their nose and taken off when seeing him.
  5. *walks into room* *heart is beating fast, needs a fag (doesn't smoke) (anymore)* "DM I've just handed in my resignation at work" Wonders is DM would keep me in pinot noir for a lifetime so I wouldn't have to work......
  6. There's also an inebriated bloke outside the seacow asking for 50p towards a packet of chips, regularly. This night time caller though sounds terrifying.
  7. tea tea tea tea tea shops tea shops..................there!
  8. I went there last sunday. shame i was broke and couldn't buy anything! but very cool indeed. It must go the way of Fopp and sell films next.
  9. I would like to point out that I wasn't the only one who ventured 'off topic'.....and so cannot be blamed soley for the abrupt lounging of this thread. I thank you.

  17. have a drink, Jah.
  18. Mockney the music snob. Gets on very well with Mr MW74. Also a music snob.
  19. I have some Mauritian music from my wedding reception, It's called Sega. We can get a lock in with that playing and see who jumps from the window first. It's actually very nice music. It's either that or Charles Aznavour, or Serge Gainsborough or....a whole album of James Bond theme tunes.
  20. a bookshop for atheists and agnostics...
  21. 'unsuitable frame of reference'.....yes indeed.
  22. I was talking about third world countries as a whole and not refering specifically to any country in particular.....go away SeanMacG
  23. the best thing about the road is the great turkish shop/market further up towards the FHT. Good selection of Middle Eatern foods. FHT, nice job. I love the celing! but lacks atmosphere. Was in The Herne last week with my brothers family. Great time had by all. The garden in the summer is a bit of a joke. Good curry in Omrith. Apart from my hatred towards to co-op as it sells nothing and the shelves are always bloody empty, the road is run down and I'm not sure what you could do to pick it up and keep it up?
  24. A homeopaths?
  25. I don't think comparing a third world or developing country to us in the U.K. is a very fair example.....
