  2. I'm sure Sean Mac that your house is comfortable but does not under any circumstance have curtains that soiled hanging up in your windows? The Plough to me is comfortable the seepy tee, grubby. Sorry folks. Just my point of view. I'm sure the drinks will be a blast.

At best, a maybe Sorry dear boy but it is grubby. If you walk down Underhill Road along the side of the pub, have a look in the pub windows and see the curtains. They need to go. Years of smoke and booze have turned them into something nightmarish. They don't sell a decent pinot noir in there either. They don't sell a decent wine in there full stop.
  4. Are you being Served The Good Life Hi De Hi......
  5. so you won't be joining me on a ten mile run later this year then? I wished I knew what you looked like I bet we've passed each other before! Anyway! sorry back on topic.

  12. It's my leaving drinks that night. The CPT is so grubby as well.
  13. they used to rummage about in the gardens looking for....nuts...only to find stashes of crack hidden in the undergrowth. Poor darlings.
  14. I actually like it empty. It gives the road a mysticism and an olde world charm that is being destroyed by the likes of the all-singing-all-dancing-in-your-face Foxton's.
  15. we've had those already darling. My Syril (red squirrel) is not impressed with the way they come over to ED and throw their weight around. P*ss off back to Brixton.
  16. frightening!
  17. I work opposite the Grand Marque. There are two nice pubs behind Temple. The Devereaux and The George. It's a different world in here! I leave this chambers next week.
  18. it's the bloody WALKABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for gods sake. And it is not in the Middle Temple. You have to walk through gates and security to get in here.
  19. I reckon he's talking a load of guff!
  20. student bar? here? where!?
  21. That's right. You have Inner and Middle Temple. The Nights Templar used this as their worldwide crusade base. It's open to the public during the day to walk around and enjoy the gardens. It is very beautiful, I shouldn't complain so much (I could be selling toner cartridges in the back room of some telesales pit) At night though this place is gated and locked.
  22. young potty mouth!!! hurrah I'm young or so you think! yes I have a mouth like a sewer and sware like a tropper. Must be my mother's link to Croydon that does it.
  23. still in the barristers chambers in Temple f*cking bored sh*tless.......
  24. Murder She Wrote and my FAV!......Miss Marple (the Joan Hickson series)
  25. but why is the old lady living there? what did the place used to be. It obviously isn't a house of sorts as it has a shop front and therefore was a shop? I'd love to see inside. I bet it's like walking back in time....
