How many laps of the park is a 10k? didn't you get bored? Mind you I'm doing a 10k later this year and would be more worried about not throwing up, there'd be no time for boredom!!

How did all the runners get on last Saturday?.................

I went into this establishment at the weekend and as always, was a bit overwhelmed by the display and choice of cheese. I asked the man (the owner) behind the counter, what could he recommend for making a cheese sauce. He gave me so much advice and free tastings, that I left very happy. What good service! I know that some of the LL shops have in the past been given a bit of a rough ride when it comes to customer service, and that's why I wanted to say "Thanks Cheese Block, the meal I cooked was a winner!" ......

chumasterp that's hillarious!!!! so I'm not the only one almost reduced to vomiting then when I run!!! No I'm not running tomorrrow. I've entered myself into a 10k race in Regents Park later in this summer (shakes head in disbelief)...so I'm training myself up for that. Got a dodgy knee as well at the mo. What time is kick off? I'll come down and wave/laugh at you all. Joking.

I also hate running in the park. It plays hell with my knees but, the roads are always best. You feel you've achieved something. Tell me why runners in ED are so miserable!!!! ??

I am reading 'Misadventures in the Middle East'....an amsusing and insightful read into two 'artists' travelling across the desert plains, and the people/encounters they have along the very strange way.

Let me set the record straight! I don't have a practice. I am not a physio. There is not Madworld 74 practice in ED. Could be a good idea though, has a certain ring to it!!

I also admire your ambition and wish you like. My posting was not an attack on your plans or your company. I was more concerned about rapid changing face of LL. I; like others feel the simple and querky style of ED is fast going out the window.

I once saw a documentary on TV about this subject. The bloke was sharing an insite to his life and his shopping bill. He was the so smug and arrogant I dispised him by the end of it. I think if my memory serves me correctly he went on holiday with the money he had saved from not buying his food. Good for him I hear you say! I work hard and have to pay cash for my food. Nothing unusual there. This chap, he had a job, a good paying job. He could afford to go in through the front door of a supermarket and BUY food. If there is so much stock binned like some of you say, why can't they do like some of the shops in the City, and give it to charities. Charities helping people to eat who have no choice but to rummage around in bins for their daily bread.
