  1. Poor Dulwich Mum. Maybe there's a new and improved pharmacy aisle that Dulwich Dad can visit! Starbuck's is a bit bigger than before, probably twice as big. I was rushing to get home so didn't buy a coffee or take a seat or anything.
  2. I didn't even see the fruit and veg section... lucky I wasn't buying any as it was :-)
  3. NEW SAINSBURY'S! I bought a toaster for about ?4. Quite tempted to put a few iPods and In-Car GPS' in there next time....
  4. 2 florins and 6 tillas? The currency is the Flortilla. I'm all over it.
  5. Are we having a forum meet there tonight? We could do supermarket sweep. First one to the Sainsbury's brand tortillas wins! (Actually everyone who gets those is a winner)
  6. I quite like their shirts, but not at those prices. Out of interest, what would be the best clothing shop to open on Lordship lane, in terms of your 'fantasy LL'?
  7. Ok I have it all sorted. Get Animal Crossing out and PM me your friend codes! Yay!
  8. The CPT had this really fit barman until about 2 weeks ago. Never got anymore women in the place, though ;-)
  9. Hang on, but I have a wireless router! So do I still need that dongle? (still utterly confused) found this on an interwebsite somewhere: "Don't have a wireless router but want to play your original style Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite online from home? You can use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. The USB Connector is a dedicated wireless access point that plugs into a USB port on your PC. It uses your PC to access your existing high-speed Internet connection."
  10. It's already arrived, my girlfriend's coming back from the states with them today. I hope she got a pink one, that would be lush. So the dongle goes in the PC so it can interface with the DS? I don't get it. Forgive be for being a bit thick and not getting why you can't play over the interweb without it when wifi's already built in!
  11. My DS is arriving today! Do you need that dongle thing for the DS Lite or is it built in now?
  12. If you want some adventurous cuisine, try Bacchus in Hoxton. It's really, really good. I went there last week. Get the steak, it's not your usual steak!
  13. (All the cool kids use Nikons) *winks at Ant* *runs away from MP*
  14. Let's get 'tooled up'. I'm a bit scared because they actually have a star rating system, like the military.

Even adults (me). Work out some way to go via London City Airport and you can even watch the plaes take off and land!
  16. Pretty sure the shop is still there - drawing a complete blank when it comes to the map though! Would like to see it :-)

I joined the ED group on facebook today, but as I've already expressed to BagPuss in person, if they have their drinks at Inside 72 and the forum has theirs at say, the CPT or the Gowlett, I think I'll happily be sticking to the EDF ;-)
  18. Southwark. You should be able to find all the info you need here: Southwark Council - Council Tax Welcome to the area!

How do I get a job there? I > know my biscuits!! Yes, that's exactly what happened. It's pretty sweet. If you know your biscuits, I can only recommend you touch base in the next month and plan for biscuit eating and tea drinking within the next three to secure a position there. From what I can tell, they're expanding. p.s. My new boss told me he actually contacted the british biscuit appreciation society (or similar) to refine their list of biscuits for meetings, no joke. Go here The Alternative Contact Pageand click on the biccie booker. Please note I gained extra respect in my first message to them by pointing that in fact, a jaffa cake is not legally a biscuit. I just didn't want to start that argument earlier (thanks for bringing it up, SpadeTownBoy :-) )

Ginger Joe's my favourite. He just says 'yeah' a lot. I bet he's the brains behind the operation.
  21. I'm with Sean - SF or Southern California. Then again, I am a yank and the girlfriend's from Southern Cali. That said, if it were anywhere else in London, nowhere else on my current budget!

Charlie: "I think I'll bring different hairstyles to the house". Wow.
  23. *Thinks about how Keef must have been carrying that foundation around for ages, waiting for this rather particular opportunity to pull it out.* *Thinks about what time he should pop into the pub*
