Hi, I need 6 bottles of their dill and mustard sauce which I use for fish plus salad dressing. I am in ED and just can't get there before the end of the month, so if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Do send me a PM. Enjoy the sunshine & weekend festivities...

Hi All, I am planning to go to this on Friday 6th July and was wondering if anyone wanted a lift? Only one way I am afraid as I won't be coming back until Monday, if you can wait until Monday, then wil be a round trip. I can take 2 people, even better if you can navigate..!! Cost per person to be discussed. PM if interested.

OMG.. only just joined Talk Talk and customer service etc is so appalling have left for a competitor. Speed was not even up to scratch and they admitted it.. What was strange was the fault I had from existing supplier b4 I moved to them was still there even though BT guy came and assured me that he had installed a new line. Broke my contract as they could not help - tried but you are sent to a call centre out of UK. I got South Africa and Phillipines. Finally demanded to speak to a Manager. To make sure this was all documented, sent e mails. They do respond, days later. Expect calls from Welcome Department - who don't actually know what is going on with your account, would have thought that in this tech age, everything should be on screen..praise, complaints, etc.. Certainly not in my case.. The problem so I understand it is everything comes out of a box somewhere and don't assume, if you are near two boxes you are likely to get connected to them. All other companies aside from I believe Virgin & Sky use BT lines.. Then you have the problem as to who is responsible for which bit of line. BT I am told might or did in the past put their prices up by 50 % whilst still in contract.. Having learnt all of this, when to be frank I neither had the time or patience.. I guess there is too much traffic on lines at certain times & whoever you go through unless it is Virgin or Sky simply in my very basic understanding too many folk and teck using a line. Could go into it further but well, at the end of the day, it is the companies that control it and depends on where line starts and finishes with regard to who is responsible for what. Gone rthough different frequency as well.. Given a website fast.com which in my case showed the different speeds at different times. Good luck to all.. All I want is a reliable service not one that is so erratic, you never know what is happening..sometimes e mails went through, others not at all, and as I run a small business just cannot afford this. What I have learnt, is not to put all your eggs in one basket - so, my broadband will be with one company and my cell with another - if one goes down or weather or anything else, at least you have another company. Guess if I was in my 20/30's or that era, now fully understand why the young have 2 phones.. Only wonder what happens to the older generation who experience what I have been through. Hope this helps some... Not a rant as such, but more frustration to have to learn about all this..good learning curve though.. Not sure what to expect from next supplier.... Thinking about going back to paper pen and fax..!!

MISSING AGAIN! lost rescue dog - Podenco IRIS (tan/white)
beansprout replied to Marie81's topic in Lost, Found or Stolen
I was in DV circa 6.30 & passed half moon lane as well. Green Dale, that was what I was thinking of..sadly, no sighting.. I only mention the hospital'cause a couple of years ago, that was where a dog was found after extensive looking but, by pure chance & no building works as now.If it is scared and no doubt hungry, just hope it is found soon...clearly must be hiding somewhere during the day & the only other places I can think of are school grounds. Will be out again tomorrow anyhow, so will check if more sightings. How about putting photos up on trees - not all use forum. -

Any more sightings??? Going out around 6 so will keep my eye open.. Has occurred to me that just maybe might find a building site to take refuge..ED hosp??? Really feel so so sorry for ISIS... Best too keep my mouth shut as to how I actually feel, and as I have compassion, God only knows how owners must be feeling for this to have happened.... -
Curve ball here, but how about tea tree oil? I am not a fan of chemicals..!!Or even lavender, that has worked for me in the past..

So sorry to hear that... Would suggest you report to Battersea Dogs Home as well and perhaps check later today or tomorrow. I assume she is microchipped so you may like to let them know your new address - a bummer at weekend also local dog wardens of both Southwark and Lambeth - sorry don't have number. Will keep my eyes open. Hope you find her soon -
Can one join an adult beginners group for French? How much? When and where

My understanding though doesn't effect me - walker can walk 5 at a time but only 3 off lead at once...yes, interesting how they plan to police it as not enough staff to start with - perhaps community pay back - now that would be a joke..!! Most dog walkers I know would frankly welcome being licenced as we are considerate, well most of us are and being doing it for a number of years. It is more the start ups who then employ other staff as far as I am concerned when things tend to come unstuck and leads to us self employed walker running our own business dealing with complaints and aggression from general public. Real pity that whilst I believe proposed certainly by Lambeth last year did not go ahead. Frankly wish Southwark would do the same thing and Lambeth then everyone is singing from same page. Almost certain walkers in Battersea have been licenced for years so what isthecproblem in our part of world. Do agree that woofers should be on lead during breeding season for birds but how many townies care?

Thanks for that .... glad it isn?t just me going through it but to be fair as I totally distrust them and have insisted on e mail trail the guy I have been dealing with is fine.. it is the company and other agents/employees or what ever they are who is main problem.

What to do in Dulwich with a 4 year old.
beansprout replied to Pugwash's topic in The Family Room Discussion
How about painting her own plate or mug? There is a place in ED that does this - for the life of me can't remember what it is called but maybe other EDF folk might give you contact details. Best I can do is from Goose Green going towards Peckham Rye Park, on shopping parade on left near Tesco's. Not sure if it is still open but last year a play centre opposite Brockwell Park near Herne Hill area. -
I would not touch EE personally - having been with them for over 10, the fibre they suggested I went with is dreadful so have now moved to another competitor. When called to let them know I was cancelling within cooling off period the were incredibly rude and to make matters worse chose to threaten me as well. Seriously now considering takingvthemattercfurther as I have e mail trail but sadly not for yesterday conversation and agent/employee refused to send me e mail.

Check listing that has already started in lounge section -
anyone on sky?? Totally frustrated with EE now and considering Sky or Virgin or possibly Talk - ..now know even more about fibre and companies than I ever new before. Even fibre as confirmed by BT yesterday works from exchange to box and then God only knows who is responsible from box into home.. EE by all current research is in 10/11 place. As someone mentioned to me, possibly all Zibam getting is a booster at the end of the day. Still buffering and frustratingly now disconnects regularly from server - new problem. Rant over
-
I have also had problems for the last two weeks - with EE and have taken the steps to go fibre route to attempt to defuse the problem. Got sent 2 new routers and 2 BT engineers and no success at all. The only other thing you could try is Ethernet cable - a friend Tried this and solved problem. I am no techie so can't comment further however, one my frequent walks around ED coming across more employees at boxes from all companies connecting people to fibre.

My toaster doesn't work and frustratingly know it must be an easy problem... Neither time or patience..

Hi there, I volunteer at a local care home in East Dulwich and I know that there are a number of talented musicians in the local area and no doubt choirs to - children and adults. I was wondering if any person/ groups would be interested in entertaining the old folk - they are avert interesting bunch of people who have led very diverse lives. Dobthink about it - only asking for an hour or so of your time once/twice a year? Could be, subject to abit of forward planning an afternoon or early evening. We might even stretch to a cup off tea and biscuits after. Thanks for reading and PM if interested.

Just seen this post and hope you are all connected Not sure if this helps, but when I was coming home yesterday afternoon around 3/30, there were two men from VM doing something with the I assume the junction box on Sylvester Road near Barry Road which I assume might be the nearest one to some of you. They did mention that fibre is the way to go....

After a long and hard battle, I am staying with EE for ?25 for an 18 month contract with fibre. Getting installed on 21st. Also got a ?30 credit for absolutely appalling aervice but, now it is jumping about all over the place. Been particularly bad over the last few days. Only other company was Talk Talk - straight 12 months with no increase but just to tired to fight and argue - just want something reliable and works - I have been with EE for 10 years..!!! Didn't realise they were a wholly owned sub of BT.
