  1. Hi, Hope this is in the right place, if not then sorry in advance. I am thinking about offering my services to people who need abit of "me time" - this could be a new Mum who just wants a couple of hours to herself or just some help with general chores, tidying up, preparing dinner, walking the dog etc. I am also thinking about offering my services to the more mature market who would like a friendly, mature person to help out - a general chat and make sure they are Ok, food preparation, accompanied appointment visits, accompanied walks etc. I have a DBS check and can supply references. Would love to be able to do this for free, but have to charge an hourly rate. Just wondering what people thought. Thanks for reading and all comments appreciated.
  2. I can recommend The Elms in Barry Road - the staff are fantastic - caring, respectful, inter grate with the residents. You can book an appointment to view - best to start now on your search since I know that the majority of them have a waiting list.
  3. Have you tried "The Lady" - animal jobs not in London usually dove tail with some element of care or housekeeping, au pair etc.. Certainly worth a look.
  4. Thank you all for your help. The UK version of "trailer park". Ideally would like to rent for a couple of months and trying to stay within 2 hour commute of London. Know I can find something on Isle of Sheppy but think I would go totally mad there!!
  5. Sorry if in wrong section. Since the rents in London are so expensive I am thinking of buying/renting a caravan on a long term basis. I know that most places only allow 50 months of the year. My problem is I don't know Uk that well and cost will be playing a major part. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice? Many thanks.
  6. Go to the Francis Peek Building and you will find park people - they are not always there though..!!
  7. Hi, Her name is Lisa and yes she and the team are going strong. Her number is 07956 255 860.
  8. Finch, what is your problem? Big drive in Sainsbury on dog kennel hill.. you can park the car,get it washed, buy food, and all you would xpect from a large sainsbury.. ask the locals and they you go. Look it up. Hope you enjoy your time here.
  9. The park does start closing at 4.30pm, but in my experience currently, having been there tonight, nearer to 5pm. They also have a team which travels around to let you know that you have to move it!!
  10. Welcomne, I have a few suggestions for you.. Recently at Dulwich Library U3A had a open event, sadly I didn't qualify but think that most of what was going on happened locally. I am a friend of Carnegie Library and we would love some help painting and sugar soaping the railings outside - we are not that far away and I am sure that there are buses that come to us from East Dulwich. One can park for free but not in the nearby roads between noon and 2pm. I know that the P4 stops more or less outside. We are really desperate for some help and can offer free tea and coffee and if you are lucky, the odd munchie as well.!! Dulwich Picture Gallery run courses and have talks every month on a particular artist that they are featuring if that appeals. Hope that is of some use and if anyone obviously subject to weather conditions would like to lend a hand with the railing project then feel free to contact me.
  11. HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT GOING TO A CHIROPRACTER?
  12. Today I think it is 6.30 pm as of tomorrow 8pm.
