So how many showed up for Cuppa with a Copper…..any with families or all older folk

I am genuinely curious… what is this obsession with keeping children active with things to do after school. From what I know, most CV kids to rugby or football of a weekend but do they actually need activities during the week after school? What about going home, relaxing before homework and I don’t know, reading a book, drawing, Lego, constructing a car/plane.. even making some cookies…

Well I for one, wish I had know when I have a very unnerving incident happen to me over a weekend had the number of local officer. Called and reported incident even did it on line - zero response. Could you possibly give our e mail address or numbers and names of our local bobbies please, or ask their permission for those of us who can’t attend in the middle of the week on a working day.

Staff have changed and owner now taking a more active role….she is such a nice+lady so I encourage you to try again . I am all for supporting local business and personally very glad after appalling service earlier this year Gail’s has closed.. Change of staff and chefs were unreal.. In one month alone must have had at least 4 new chefs plus god knows how many waiters/ waitresses.. when Ai saw that happening, new it was gonna be down hill all the way.

Point is.. top two have quit.. BBC is now what? From being well respected world wide.. not only for news, programs, no idea about pod casts.. Only thing we as a country do well currently is broadcast remembrance service…. Lets face it.. only country that I know of who can release wrong people from jail.. one gave himself up if news is to believed and the other is where? Only country I know of who actually pay people to leave, flights etc and they are back in country .. all heard via Radio 4…

May I ask as I am interested to know.. what was the age range? Know, that when I lived there, tried early evening & that was worse as people who might have been interested in attending had kids to deal with… supper, after school activities, etc.. and older folk didn’t want to go out. Would it not be better to do it over a weekend? Say Sat as opposed to Sun when some go to church and of course clashes with activities for kids whichever day one chooses. I get one has to do it when bobbies are available… Given the incidents around ED, would have thought this would be a better approach or perhaps, link it in with the guy from council was very proactive.. Just strikes me, that people who might wish or want to attend, would not be available.. work being one..

Don’t think so, what they do is send a letter with a caution and outline what happens if you are caught ie 3 points on licence, fine or if you are a lucky first timer, fine an on line speed awareness course.

Who knows.. point is, reached national press and radio. says zero for people in power and if it is correct a local established agent in Dulwich. Oh, so that is all fine..in my book, no.! Agent was at fault and also lanldlord for not making sure .. nothing to do with being in power or not.. As a landlord and an agent you have legal responsibilities..

Why don’t you just support them? Independent, not a chain, helpful if you know not what you are ordering. Spring Rolls are in all Asian Cultures.. not a bog standard thing you get from a local Chinese take away!

Many years ago, I actually cooked a meal for all who wanted to come ….. In this day and age, with social media being in our faces..yes, I don’t live in ED, but visit, why doesn’t Christian spirit happen? I would think, few people even know their neighbours…. Life, busy etc. We all live in one world..human kindness is all around..In a city, people are scared to make human contact, especially when who knows what might happen. Can clearly remember, coming back in summer with friends, side door had been jimmied.. nothing was taken from inside.. When I lived in ED and when I visit, it is Me who starts a conversation.. never know where that might lead, or in deed where it might take one.. Notice my post, in general did not have response I was hoping for .. that is fine.. So, Will start again, and ask personally.how can I thank or make a donation to keep forum going.. We should be proud, to have a forum like this..

Would think a lot of people care - tenants and landlords sine bill has been passed like I said either last week or this giving , I understand Tenants more rights. What Rachel has done highlights issues - and certainly I would have thought, impact on folks lucky enough to have properties around Dulwich or wherever paying agents a fee to a tenant for their property and/or also manage. Most agents I know belong to ARLA whatever they are called and have a code of conduct that they have to follow.

Might have left the job but says very little about agency management.. surely most companies have a hand over or would at least check that all was in place… how long does it take to just look at e mails to see everything has been done? Hoping this is not for real as I thought this agency was long established in the area…Buck stops with manager of rental department or Manager is overall charge.. Harvey and Wheeler in Dulwich Village? Only one I know… How can they offer to apply and never did? Surely; whether they are managing the property or not and with tech been so advanced I would have thought they would have been a couple of e mails sent as a reminder or, is it the Landlord’s responsibility to apply… Rental Law/ Bill has just come into force - can’t remember if it was this week or last and have been to busy to read.. Actually, you have just made me think about something which duurrr should have thought of earlier.. To be lenient here, I think English is not the person first language which is the only logical explanation for strange responses.. maybe even googled
