Hi, I am receiving regular e mails from AOL asking me to update my security. Worried that it might be a scam so before doing anything, could some good people advise me please. Thanks in advance.

My parcel was delivered, but as I was not in, gone to Peckham Post Office...would have thought postie could have rung neighbours bell.. Arrgh.. Rant over...
-
Ahhhh..! Been waiting for parcel and guess what? Very neat hand writing informing me that could not fit through letterbox! Could postie not have rung neighbours doorbell to leave parcel? So going to trek to Peckham tomorrow - no doubt there will be problems. No point in redelivery as no longer can one leave with neighbour!

My phone asked for updates several times - at the time, thought it was strange. Humm, will see what 2morrow brings. Thanks all...

Thanks you - seems to be random people - really not sure what is going on for all I know, could be my entire contacts. Very odd and as you say, thought iphone was excellent for security. Maybe I am just unlucky.

Sending e mails unsolicited - been told by friend that BT blocked it snd confirmed virus found. Have tried switching phone off, starting again and clearing history but not sure if this has done the trick. Doubt it.

I used Aston?s services again today and can highly recommend him. He is a great handyman, efficient, on time and gets the job done at a reasonable price. Highly recommend him. Will be using him again as needed.

beansprout replied to O.A.Partygirl's topic in The Lounge
Have used it a couple of times after finally getting a slot. Must be very lucky as get most of what I order and they send a mail letting you know what is not available. Personally, grateful for them. -
Was passing earlier today and saw this up and running for those who are looking locally. Admin, sorry if not allowed but thought might be useful for people. No idea if they will be around for rest of week.

Virgin Media - is yours dropping out/freezing?
beansprout replied to beansprout's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Still freezing and dropping out! -
Hi, Just wondering if it is happening to anyone else? Buffering, freezing and really can?t face call centre. Was happening just before lunchtime but seems for the time being to have sorted itself out. Also, when cancelling assume box etc has to be returned. I never got a label to send back in my box - guess I will have to eventually call. Moan over.

Sainsburys DKH - queue update please
beansprout replied to Lots's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Yes, it is near nursery. I did it last week - was a short queue while they processed orders. All done under 30 minutes. Do take some of your own bags as not everything is bagged up. -
