Just seen a website ukrainestakeshelter.com Good to see that some people are already offering help without waiting for whatever payment gov is thinking about.

Several years ago I know people got together in Herne Hill to find a house, furnish it etc and welcome a refugee family and offer support. Is anything like this happening in East Dulwich? If so, please point me in the right direction and if not why don?t we as a community start something up. Aside from what is happening in Ukraine at the moment, a lot of Afghanistan refugees are still in hotel accommodation according to recent news. Just had to get this off my chest - people are dying and we on the forum do talk twaddle at times!

Hi, Couple of years ago I was with Green Flag and was just about to renew but seen they have had mixed reviews. Anyone renewed recently? Abit cautious of comparison sites and companies I have never heard of. No European cover required.

Hi there, I am thinking of moving from my current supplier to Plusnet - research tells me (if I am correct) that they use the EE network so I am assuming that coverage in East Dulwich and throughout UK is good. Thinking about testing it out on a rolling SIM only contract. Any thoughts? And thanks in advance. Of course a big drawback is the post!

How can any council get away with wasting money like this and not be held to account? Makes me so ?? angry when we have all emergency services working around the clock.

Went to Highshore Road this pm to try and find out where a track & trace parcel had got to - was told they have large cages full of parcels, packets etc - I assume that there is no way they can find anything at the moment! Guess we will all have to just sit back and wait for them to sort it out. Was quite envious of folk that had a card and were collecting packets etc. I am assuming that even if one wanted to claim compensation there is no way as they simply have no idea where things are.
